"SUNSHINE" - TUGS: The US Dub - Episode 1 

This is the sixth time I’ve seen this video since its original upload, and once again I have to give credit where credit is due. Despite the series being short lived, the fandom is very dedicated at keeping its spirit alive.

Man, Sunshine's "What happened?" is heartbreaking. The little guy says it like he's on the verge of tears! It sounds like pure confusion and shame and defeat, all packed together in two words! Excellent voice talent! Nice job!!!

It’s funny how it’s slowed down like how Wallace and Gromit was when released to the US. Imagine if Thomas got that same treatment, Ringo would sound deeper than ever.

As a British guy this makes me very happy. For so long we've only had our original U.K dub, but now ( even though it's not official ) we finally have a proper U.S to lose ourselves in. The best new voice for me is defiantly Izzy, props to Alejandro Camacho for making him sound much more subtle and real now, far less stereotypical then his original show VA; not to mention he actually made me laugh. 😂 I also give Jessica Jacobs's performance for Lillie applause to, she just sounds so sweet & angelic, defiantly matches Hercules's suave charm, making their awkward scene together all the more hilarious. Listening to this feels like a whole new experience, like i'm watching the show again for the first time.The voice actors here have a gift. Bravo! to them all. Here's to more exciting Re-Dubs of the rest of the episodes to come.

This is incredible. I'm always amazed with how professional your videos are, but this is on a whole other level. Everyone does such an amazing job voice acting, and the slight changes made from the U.K. version work really well. I'll always miss your crass joke dubs from back in the day, but at least I can finally see the show, as Mitton and Cardona intended it to be seen in the states.

This was great, although I prefer the UK voices for Ten Cents, Top Hat and Zorran. It’s great to finally see Tugs in it’s native dub. I can’t wait to see Pirate reuploaded and for the rest of the episodes to be dubbed once the channel is fully restored.

I’d prefer if Ten Cents had a more younger sounding voice but his voice here is ok

Its very good, but there's a few things that bug me a bit. 1.) Ten Cents is by cannon one of the "Younger tugs", yet his voice is gruffer and deeper than warriors, I was really expecting more a New York backstreet/ Paperboy voicestye for him. 2. Sunshine is not as young as everyone thinks. He has extensive experience up river, so much so that he has memorized the terrain and currents, arguably he could even be older than Ten Cents as he refers to Ten Cents as "Kiddo" multiple times. 3.) Hercules voice actor seems unsure of what kind of style of voice he was going for, if you ask me, Hercules should have a smooth, moviestyle greaser style voice. Given his hairstyle and aviator glasses 4.) Top hats accent needs a little work but the idea is solid! 5.) The Z-stacks are done BEAUTIFULLY in relation to the mobster style the show went for. 6.) Captain Star's voice doesn't seem to match. However I'm not taking away how awesome it is to see TUGS in a new light!

Great way to pay homage to the show, I do very much prefer a UK dub of the show, which is the one we got, but seeing a US dub is interesting, I will be frank here and say I did find some choices for the characters’ voices unfitting, Ten Cents is the first one that comes to mind, I feel like a lot of the other voices really just sound like the characters speaking in an American accent, but Ten Cents doesn’t sound like he is Ten Cents, that’s also true for some voice actors, but the fact you did this in the first place should be enough to show your dedication for this show, and that’s remarkable, I know you did one for Pirates, which you’d hopefully reupload soon, and I hope you’re doing more of these, and you better voice Boomer when we get to Jinxed or else we’re gonna have some problems lol
