Thank you! We tried using the factory instructions to no avail, found your video and had it working following your steps. You made it easy, your a great teacher!!! Quality on this camera is first rate.
I was able to use your video to get the video on to my phone. However, do you have another video on how to use or set up the different modes; Live video, snapshot, record and alarm? I also had an issue with the night vision not working correctly.
Power on the camera, waits for it to boot up, go to your phone WiFi as it you’re attempting to find a WiFi connection and you will see the camera’s WiFi. Just click on that long ID you well be able to connect.
Good day thanks for the video however, i really dont understand how you set up this. i would like to know what app and how to download the app. What to do after am a novice and would like more details thank you
You're very welcome! The two app I've used are P2PLiveCam and BVCAM. Both are these apps are basically the same. I couldn't find the P2PLiveCam for Android, so I used BVCAM, but both can be found for iOS devices. If you're having trouble following this video, please try my other video using the link below. The camera is different, but the setup is the same. Let me know if there's anything else I can do to assist. Good luck! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xOwrlbyI7g4.html
Thank you for this info, i got the job done in a few minutes by downloading the P2PLiveCam. To be honest i don't think the camera is HD quality and also the night vision is useless in my opinion. I tried different setting but at night you just don't see anything in the video.
Many thanks for the detailed and wonderful video. If you have any issues or problems, please leave a message and i will try to sloved it as soon as possible.
Yes, once you configure the camera, it will record on the SD card without a wifi signal. However, you can only configure your camera by connecting your phone to it via wifi. But even if you do not have wifi, the camera emits its own wifi signal -- well at least until you connect your camera to your regular wifi, at which point the camera's wifi signal disappears.
Hello Teddy, if your question is, can you access the camera remotely and view live videos while you’re away from home, the answer is yes. You can remotely watch live footage even if you’re in another country.
Androxx thanks but I think my question is what if the alarm clock is not at my house and it’s at another location , would I have to set up the WiFi password at that location to view live footage from my home?
@@tedeneude9747, Once you set up the camera with the password from your home, you will be able to view the video from anywhere you are. However, this is no longer the case ever since the P2P servers have been brought down in Aug/2019. Without the P2P servers, you can only view the video from the same location as your camera. That said, do not buy this camera. If you already have, get yourself a refund while you can. The camera is no longer supported and the app it uses has been removed from the Apple/Google stores.
To further elaborate on your question, if you now move your camera from your home to another location, its password is still valid, but the wifi network the camera is linked to (i.e your home wifi) would be unreachable. So you would have to connect your camera to another local wifi network using the wifi password of that other network. The password of the camera itself (which is different than the wifi password) would still be the same.
Absolutely! Launch the P2PLiveCam app, select the gear to the far right of your camera, Device Settings, WiFi Config. From there you can now look for and set your home WiFi and select if as the permanent connection for the camera. Once that's done you can then turn off the WiFi from your phone and use your phone network while testing to see if you can connect to the camera.
Hello, Can you please advise how to set the camera to continue recording even if I exit the smartphone app ? I need to put it on continious record for 2 hours independently of my phone. Now when I exit the app the recording stop. How to make it continue for a longer time?
The camera has two recording modes. Apparently, you are using the mode that is turned on from the "Live Video" screen and stores the video on your phone. Once you exit the screen, the recording stops. This mode is intended to capture things spontaneously at your discretion. The other mode of recording stores the video on the SD card in the camera -- not on the storage of your phone. It allows you to record upon motion detection or on a given schedule such as all-day or during certain hours. This is the feature you are looking for. To access it, select "Advance Config" (or "Device Settings" on Apple). From there select "SDCard Config" to configure the recording schedule. Then later, select "Alarm Config" for additional options.
