I love how the characters remained relatable. Especially Tazer. They kept him dark. He didn’t just automatically try to become a hero just bc he has powers. He was just tryna get to the money & kill the opps 😅

Dionne was killing me. She should've went home when the others entered A-Town. At the end Krazy killed her on purpose to get back at Michael. A lot of these characters tap danced on my nerves acting as if being super hero adjacent gave them powers. Especially Tazer friends, following him just got them shot or arrested. Smh...

That ‘death by a thousand shanks’ move was INSANE! Thats a mortal kombat fatality right there!

I was shocked, as this is a good show and wanted more. My only worry.....it's on Netflix, as they are notorious for cancelling shows after a season!

This show was amazing. Only problem was that it was too short for my taste. But I love the dynamic between all the characters, and that they all use their abilities in the way that you’d most expect them too

I'm happy to see a predominantly dark skinned cast with 1 or 2 racially ambiguous actors, typically its the reverse. I noticed the sickle cell connections by episode 3 and I was like they have to tie this in somehow, no way its a coincidence. Also the way they go into deep sleeps after using their powers and it seems their abilities charge or flare up when they gather. So if the inheritance theory is true Char and Andre's son will probably activate by season 2 making things very interesting.

I THINK you need a lesson in logic. Invisibility isn't a weak power, especially if we look at how things can grow, clearly he can make other inanimate things invisible like his clothes and knife, maybe he can grow to make humans and living things invisible, this is perfect stealth power, honestly unbeatable if he learns how to control it. Those gogles can be circumvented, it's probably heat signature, he can wear clothes suited to his power to remove heat or radiation. This is one of the most powerful powers loool.

The show was really good. I randomly selected to watch it and was pleasantly surprised. More channels should be talking about this show. With all the characters in the show it had a good balance of character development that made sense.

I didn't like this show at first. Keep watching, after the first 20 minutes of the first episode it gets better. FYI it's on Netflix. I binged it this weekend, it's pretty dang good.

This is a black version of Heroes. A guy with powers trying to save someone from dying, with a cast of characters who's paths intertwine for a inevitable team up.

Great breakdown. I agree with you on Michael traveling to alternate timelines vs there being only one, concrete & unchangeable future. In the first 'future,' we see with Michael, the tombstone for Dionne says "wife." In the present, they spoke about getting married, but obviously in that timeline, they hadn't gotten married yet. So I agree that we will see Dionne again when Michael figures out how to travel to alternate timelines and bring her back.

Crazy had the dopest power. My best friend cousin is Executive producer on this. He did a great job and as a child of a family member with SC. I like how they used it to primarily effect ‘Black people’! I heard about this show year ago and was wondering how they would make this a ‘black’ focused effect. It seemed to get a lil confusing at times but this show is good. 8/10

Only thing is Netflix is infamous for canceling after the first season for ‘budget’ reasons.’ So fingers crossed that they keep this. Great writing, action, and acting.

I think Sharlene definitely has powers, Ray said that the supacell usually activates around other supacells and shes locked up with a bunch of them, plus her genetics and just plot wise, the writers put her in there for a reason.

I really enjoyed this show, I really want to see season 2.

When I saw the trailer months ago, everyone in the comments was praising Rapman and saying that he represents South London well. I expected the show to be quality, but I thought the powers would be much more subtle like in Sense 8. I think a lot of yoututbers dont know this is a super hero show, because no one in the US is talking about it. I just realized these powers are mostly from the Show heroes. I knew there was a lot of similarities, but now I'm seeing many more.

The fact that i knew how it would end.. Rapman you did it again. Shiro Story Pt. 3 the child dies after being shot in the car,now Dionne dies the same way. Crazy detail if you notice.

This was a great review. Spoiler alert!!! I am glad they dwelt on Syckle Cell without laboring the issue. Even race was touched on subtly through the biracial character’s experience. Regarding family connections, Andre’s son AJ may also have powers. He may be the foil contrasting with Krazy's character to highlight his attributes. This will cause a lot of conflict for Andre’s character. Thanks for sharing. I thoroughly enjoyed Season 1. Supacell lived up to my expectations

This series was so incredible my theory on Dionne is he couldn’t save her because it was a fixed point in time un changeable just like dr strange in what if he went back twice and couldn’t save her it doesn’t matter what he did she would of died anyway I can’t wait to see S2 and what happens next incredible show 🔥

This was really good and good acting too, no dodgy patois from the Jamaican characters which is always a plus - big up Robbie Gee. I feel like this easily could’ve been 8 episodes, stretch out the story a bit, reason being, it started off with good pace but then by episode 3 it felt like they were rushing through the plot.. that’s not necessarily a bad thing, it just means i was left wanting more😂 Bring on season 2.

The only thing I don’t get is why can’t Michael see or change something twice… like the first time when tazer stabbed him,, he was able to avoid it.. but when crazy killed them all he was able to change it once but when crazy shot the car why he couldn’t change it again .. I don’t understand that part

This gave me They Cloned Tyrone kind of vibes, with the focus on the black on black crime and a nefarious organization (Big Boss) pulling the strings behind the scenes.

michael can travel waay back in the past to save Dionne he just needs to master it

if he is planning on going to the future, why not just rewind time once again and stop krazy from shooting ?

Love loved LOVED IT! So proud of the creator of this! Loved all the actors, but Krayzie scared me. When he shot that boy, I knew he was beyond savage. American here so.....is South London like the "hood"?

My unpopular opionion. The bald guy tasked to monitor the people with powers around the city is actually on their side, and not in the side of the organisation 😅

What I really like is that they turned Tazer from a kind of bad guy to a good guy and turned Michael from a good guy to someone who will hunt down who reaaaally killed Dionne without making it too obvious.

This show was fantastic. It's like Top Boy but with superheroes. Regarding the ending I don't think Dione is actually dead since Michael's future self said if he got them all together then he could save her. There could be more to her "death" and maybe they could reverse it possibly. But anyways I thought the show was great. 10/10. 👏👏
