Thank you for making this video. One small correction: it is never necessary to use the power supply input. If using the round MIDI jacks, you can supply power via USB. Note that the smaller LinnStrument 128 has no power supply input because it's not necessary.

It being on a per patch basis is annoying to say the least. Its not likely you change your controller when you use an MPE controller. Please fix that in a future firmware update. I do consider that a bit of a bug. You almost have me for getting one of these desktops, but the entire idea that if you change a patch the MPE is off is kind of broken. This isn't really the case with my other mpe synths.

It's very annoying! Have you found a fix to this?

@@danluscombe5006 No that is up to UDO, but they need to make it a universal switch as supposed to per patch. Now mind you have a super 6 now, but I am still annoyed with this aspect of it. I have a GS E7 and Hydrasynth. The MPE switch is universal, across all patch, as it should be.

Would be nice to show what lights you have on/off in the Per-Split Settings mode on Linnstrument. Also how do I setup what Z axis does? Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply- I just saw this. Regarding your first request, I think you want to light different musical scales for each keyboard split. In other words, you wish to highlight different musical scales for the left and right hands. In my opinion, this is a rare musical use and I don’t feel it is important enough to add the required complexity for the majority of users. However, you can already do what you want by creating a custom light pattern, setting each note pad to any color or off. This is explained on the Panel Settings page (accessed from the LinnStrument Support page on my site), Global Settings tab, Note Lights On/Off section. Regarding your second question, I think you are asking how to assign which MIDI messages are sent by finger pressure. This is done in Per-Split Settings, Loudness/Z column, where you can assign Channel Pressure, Poly Pressure or any CC message. You can learn details in the Panel Settings page, Per-Split Settings tab, Loudness/Z section.
