I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it looks like I’m actually going to place a super 7 order. These look good! I generally do not like super 7 but I’m in on them all. Hopefully they complete all the characters.
I picked up the Hasbro ones on clearance, mostly due to the quality control issues. I wasn't willing to gamble on figures missing things and coming out broken. Half off? Much easier decision there. I won't be getting these, but they do look absolutely amazing. Might pick up Dekkion and the Shadow Warriors at some point, though. Venger needs him some lackeys.
… Oh, man I hope they do reaction. I know they already did some figures… But that was mostly unproduced characters… I would love to see the cartoon figures in reaction form.
I enjoy my Hasbro D&D set, and I enjoy my Iron Studio D&D as well. I will definitely get Super 7 as well. They look on point, and we get Dekkion and Shadow Demon right out of the gate!!! I can't wait to see their Venger. I also love the extra heads with diff expressions. That's what I was hoping for with Hasbro's Venger. His side eye wasn't menacing enough. He needed more vicious expressions. But hey, I waited 40 freakin years for a toy company to make these characters, so the 10 year old inside me is ecstatic we are finally getting these characters after such a long wait. And from different companies yet. Nice to finally see the cartoon D&D get so much love. I only wish I could also afford Super 7's G.I. Joe, Thundercats, and Silverhawks line as well.
Cool news, thanks Mike. I have the full D&D Hasbro Animated series collection, but I bet these will be a better quality plastic. Those Hasbro ones were very brittle. I'll consider this, thanks! I hope they make a cartoon Warduke too.

I love what Super 7 did with Club Grayskull and these look nice but I am really glad I got the Hasbro figures instead. They just look more like the cartoon. Also, love my Iron Studio figures as well. These are also more expensive than Hasbro. I guess I'll stick with the ones I got.

Super cool and I dig it but like the hasbro version I’ll play the long game and pick these up for half the price down the road. Super 7 and this $55 price point is just a no go. The NECA D&D looks just as good or better for $35 or less.
i'm glad Hasbro at least got all the kids out (and even happier i got them all on clearance) but i think the Super 7 set will blow them away. fear is of course will they at least finish off the gang? i do love the thought of them making a big Tiamat but their prices are always scary, accessories are weak with these for the price Hank should at least come with an unnotched bow. all in all i'm very excited, and Super 7 is offering a bonus pack with a few other accessories if you order the full wave from them.
I don't mind getting more options, but find it very interesting that Hasbro is licencing this out at the same time as o-ring G.I. Joes. Seems like when they don't sell enough units to fill their coffers, they're happy to let Super7 take over now.
I've ordered the sheila and shadow demon from bbts. I'm shocked they're doing them bec the hasbro ones seemed like a failure. Happy for the hasbro ones to be my comolete set. I'll just a get a few favorites from S7 or ones hasbro didn't do, unless I can get them on sale sometime.
These do look nice. But I'll wait for reviews. See if the final product looks as good. Super7 stuff doesn't seem to sell out very fast on BBTS, so no rush to preorder. The price is not terrible, but I certainly can't afford all of them. But I think Presto, Sheila, Eric, Bobby and Uni would make a good mini-collection for around $200.
I will get some villians on sale in the future, but for now, I´m good with te ones from Hasbro. The price is too high for figures with no better articulation.

Already Pre-Ordered on BBTS. Will be buying all the NECA DDC figures as they will be better than the Hasbro versions I already have. I am actually surprised these are coming out so quickly behind the Hasbro ones. I also wonder since NECA has a deal for AD&D and has already put out Warduke, Strongheart, etc. if that limits S7's options on them for awhile (despite style changes.) Although I already fear that the NECA'S AD&D figures are slowing down, with no new announcements since Elkhorn & that interview that The Fwoosh did with the NECA Sculptor not sounding all that positive about the AD&D lines future. =(
Back in the day my buddy and me saw the episode with skeleton celestial knight and made our own class for him in d&d, pretty much a fighter that casts spells.
S7 scale figs are 7 inches. I have to admit I like some of S7 Ulimates GI Joe figs. Good point Mike regarding the different characters that S7 decided to release.
I can't stomach the $55 price tag for what they are. I'm more into what NECA is doing with that line and a more palatable price point. That Dekkion tho...
and That is how Hasbro should have made them...too bad they sorta rushed the toon line to coincide with the movie which doesnt feature the cartoon characters...good job Super7 ..just make Vengers outfit into cloth
I REALLY wish they would make Kelek the Wizard! If Neca could do Kelek in the style they did Warduke that would be epic. I do like that they are doing Shadow demon and Dekkion
I don't buy anything from Hasbro as a rule so I am all in here. If I am buying figures, they need to be good and I'll take anything Super 7 makes over Hasbro any day of the week. Super 7's GIJOE and Silver Hawks have been great so if these are the same then this line will be awesome.
I wanted these so bad but the articulation sucked so bad I passed on them even at Ollie’s prices. Cannot wait for them now. But I’ll never be happy with super 7’s prices!!!!!
The Hasbro line was fine for kids toys but fell way short of my expectations as an adult collector and was vastly overpriced. While Super7 is always overpriced, if the final product can match promo shots, especially when it comes to faces, they will be much nicer on the shelf. But from what I've seen of past promo vs. production... looking at you Baroness... I won't buy this new line either.
just think of all the suckers who bought the Hasbro D&D figures that looked like happy meal toys for the same price or more than these new versions. Bring on Venger & Tia-Mat
Spotted Venger and DM 2Pac at the local 🎯 easily the worst 2Pac ever made (including Terex and the Fallen) wouldn't buy 2Pac even if they were giving them away.
Those are going to be dead stock in this economy by the time they come out, lol. No disrespect to super7, they are just waaaaay too expensive, I dont care how much in licensing they pay, we want value.
