Hello my friend happy Saturday night I went pier fishing on Friday again in a long time I'm going pier fishing again tomorrow Sunday nice to see a new video 👍🎣
Great info! Please do this with SPJ set up for our budget friendly friends! Just a suggestion if its possible do it in Budget, Mid tier and High End to cater all sorts of viewers. Keep it coming Master Kit!
You can do this with Fast Jigging, but not really with Slow Jigging...probably after a few years. Fast Jigging has advanced so much that there are manufactures that make rods and reels that are cost effective, The Slow Jigging market is still quite small, there are OK rods...but the reels are the question.
@@TheFishingKit understandble. Btw just question on spj rod, Kit any thoughts on Daiwa Saltiga AGS spj rods? If im using jigs mostly at 80g to 210g jigs which power shud i go for? 2 or 3 thanks again..
@@ShinkiZer0Base it on your max, not your minimum....coz those rods dont fit your minimum anyway. if you can find a rod that's 100-230 or so, would probably suit you better.
@@diomarim7322 Thats a very difficult question to answer - the easiest answer would be to buy the standard - Ocea Jigger HG, then look for a rod like the Adajo Slow Tuned from Storm. the line is very important and you need to get line from YGK, Momoi, or sunline that's made for the japanese market. then you have a pretty decent setup. Don't buy reels you don't unless you understand whats needed for a reel to do this. otherwise, you end up spending more.
You should have said hello, we don't bite. :) You get what you pay for when it comes to these things. The two brands you mention are ok, but they have their own issues as well, be it weight, reliability etc. People tend to use them then swap over to one of the two biggest brands...end of the day, it's all about reliability when you need it, especially in the long term.
Question, about gearing on reels, I ordered the new Zenaq Fokeeto Ikari FS 55-10 and have a 2 spare reels in my collection. Daiwa Saltiga 8k and 10K however they are the H models which are 5.8:1. Can I get by with this, i just did not want to go by a new reel with a 4.9:1 if i don’t have to. Pro’s and con’s? I will though of you think it is a must for speed jigging.
That's a very open ended question - I can tell you I use PE 0.8 to fast jig and I wouldn't be wrong coz I am using it for small fish in shallow water....
Hey friend. Do you recommend spinning reels for fast jigging in the red sea most ppl in my area use overhead reels. If yes what reel size do you recommend? We mostly fish deep in up to 300m.
you can, especially with long jigs, 6000 and 8000 PG size (shimano - or equivalent size from other manufacturers). 6000 has been doing quite well for us here - same depth range.
@@Mj-zq5cg You know, firstly...I don't work for the shop. Secondly, RU-vid is owned by Google, you can use google to search for almost anything including "barracuda fishing equipment" and guess what...you get a map as a search result and you can pretty much pinpoint where it is...really cool right?
