I don't think the problem is the character itself. A guy with a physique like that would would great on for example One Piece, specially seeing how silly he acts acts. I think the backlash comes because he represents Capcom's bad habits with ugly models, tone deaf to what the fans want, unhype characters (barely stands out compared to Geese and Trunks), and not showing the fun parts of the character like the backdash. Plus they fucked up the model and used the V-Trigger one.

Fix Abigail? They still haven't fixed Ken after the outcry from his redesign though from what I recall it was more about Ken's face. (Also I'm pretty sure his eyes were blue in 4. Also Ryu's were blue in 4 Vanilla I recall.) Maybe they aren't the problem.... Maybe it's us....? (To elaborate, maybe aesthetically, Capcom is fine with the look of either character. Because they're focused on Function(I'm so sorry I used that word)IDK....) We might actually get used to Abbobobigail and accept him, we already got used to BananaHair Man Bun. But I wouldn't mind scaling ABG's proportions to human levels and giving Ken some sort of makeover.
