I so appreciate your view on the Travis Kelce thing. Such a fair take. So many people have been so extreme over their opinions on this. Glad you spoke about it. I’ve even seen video of Jason Kelce doing this same thing in October with his coaches. Like you said, not condoning that behavior in anyone, but let’s not act like it’s unprecedented behavior in a football game. No one accused Jason Kelce of being abusive when he did this, I think they said, “he got handsy”. Was hardly covered at all.

The 49ers had TWO timeouts when the Chiefs reached the red zone. You have to give your defense a reset in that situation. No point in saving timeouts in overtime.

I've been traveling to Las Vegas since 2014, as my family moved there. The city has completely changed. This is one of the best and most entertaining Superbowls we've had in a while.

As I told my mother in law as the game started. Every time there has been a team that wins more than one Super Bowl, they are hated and suddenly the opponent is the underdog everyone wants 😂 I don’t follow football religiously but both my husband and father in law do. Plus I love watching these commentators every now and then for entertainment. The bond this team has right now is what is making them bounce back EVERY time they are down. Their communication. Lack of greed for the ball to be advanced by only one player also helps…. The 49rs are going to bounce back but I’m not a fan of the quarterback. My husband disagreed that he’s not humble enough to be desperate enough. His story seemed too PR….maybe i watch too much reality shows 😂 The other players seemed too cocky every time they did something in the first half, so I honestly was eager for a beat down on the second half. Even though it was more of “lets make every move down” instead, I loved that ending 🎉

I haven't heard anyone today mention what a terrible job the center did for the chiefs with the snapping of the ball all game.. Lots of miscues, and almost always at Mahomes' shins... Luckily, Patrick was able to make it work, and seal the win... but that was unimpressive to me.

KC is officially a dynasty team they are no doubt compared to Troy Aikman and the 90s cowboys dynasty (right now it’s too early to compare Mahomes as the greatest QB of all time but so far so good but right now it’s way to early to tell.Only those who try to say he’s the greatest QB are children who just started watching NFL so Mahomes is all they know or Bias KC fans. Why does everyone keep saying the game almost went into Double Overtime? Isn’t the rule that the overtime becomes a new game with 4 quarters. Therefore, if the time had ran out during the Chiefs last drive it would have only been the end of the first quarter.

Funny how Tommy was pounding 50 plus yard punts all game, and the one he hit a little short (40 yard) goes off the extra blocker the 49ers were forced to put back because the gunners and the huge punts were fixing no return yardage. Just playing hard all game can result in breaks going your way.

Why is the decision to receive the ball a point of contention? Regardless of what decision was made, talking heads would find fault with it. It would of been just as much pressure if you kicked it to the Chiefs and Mahomes scored a touchdown and now Purdy has to match it. It's a complete non issue. He loves football, he knows football, he played football, he keeps it real, he is passionate and reminds football fans of the realities of this game, the toughness, the violence, the players' perspective, and a class act of a sports show. Its my Favorite show on TV and i love MJD with NFL Network, but this show is unique and always getting more information from players

I said from the jump they should of went for it. On that 4th and 4 with 5 yard tell the endzone. In over time. Bc of they didn't get it. Patrick would of been pinned at the 5 yard line. But instead they settled with a kick in over time and gave Patrick the ball at the 30 yard line. Way to easy for him. Any other smart coach would of went for it on 4th and taken a chance knowing Patrick would of been pinned at the 5 yard line if they didn't get it. They could've forced a punt that way or got a safety to win

It doesn’t grant anybody any superpowers. Will labeling Kobe the GOAT bring him back from the dead? GOAT debates are to have something to talk about on First Take and Undisputed. A good 10-15 minutes to waste time to keep people talking and arguing when it will become meaningless after we’re all dead.

This was by far the worst rigged game ever. Come NFL if you are going to rig the games then you need to get better at it in this new era. With the new tech and social media you can’t hide it anymore. Every little detail is obvious. You’re going to have to add a 1 minute broadcast delay to fix your mistakes.

Professional sports are closer to reality television than they are to pure competition. These leagues openly acknowledge that they're in the entertainment business. That's why I knew at halftime that there was zero chance the NFL, refs, and coaches were going to allow San Francisco to milk the clock with the running game, capitalize on the Mahomes interception, and get out of there with a 20-10 victory in a snorefest. There just had to be some manufactured drama culminating in an overtime walk-off. It's a shame that these games can't be played naturally. That only happens when you have serious mismatches that no amount of manipulation can fix (i.e. TCU vs. Georgia, UConn vs. San Diego State, Michigan vs. Washington).

Didn’t call any time outs. Let the clock run down to so if they miss the TD they can’t even get a tying field goal. So they knew it would be a wide open easy catch. That’s why it will be remembered to me… it was the most unprofessional easily sought out rigged game ever
