Julian's a class act. I was undergoing chemotherapy for leukemia back in 2019 and he visited the hospital. I wasn't well enough to leave my room, but he heard that there was a huge Edelman 11 fan on the 10th floor and came up to visit me personally. Always will be one of my favorite players, and this video only reassures that.
This guy is such a character. Josh has met his goofy match. The himbo levels are off the charts, lovingly. It’s like watching two Jewish Fred Jones’s talking to themselves. So charming. So silly. So endearing. So sincere. The way he was so intensely interested in the upside down burger? Adorable. The way he continually had food on his face and then said that he eats in such a way as to prevent food from getting on his face? You couldn’t write a better script. Protect these men.
Never expected julian edelman to be my favorite episode of last meal to date. "tough times don't last, tough people do." I kinda needed to hear that today. Thanks, bubs
I know he has had amazing guest like Tom Hanks, but Josh is in top form whenever it’s a sports guest. This and the Kelce Ep are the two best episodes of the series. Keep them coming mythical team.
Same, I love when Josh gets to talk to people where another interest of his is shared (sports). It keeps giving me more respect for athletes. I think I teared up somewhere in the Kelce ep too haha
I think what makes Josh and this series so special is that we are still so engaged with the guests regardless of our likes and interests and commonality. I do not care for American Football, and do not know 99% of the players. But I watched this episode in its entirety, and came away with some new things. Just like the Kelce one. The guests have all been great, questions always interesting. What an awesome series this is to get to know more about these people!
I clicked on this video IMMEDIATELY. I grew up watching the pats and Edelman has always been my favorite player. He's so good they had to put #1 on him two times
Same here. Some of my earliest memories consist of me running around in my Edelman and Moss jerseys with my grandmother swearing in the background and my uncle smoking a joint on the back porch. Man I'm glad to have been raised in Mass.
Born and raised in New England and grew up with the Patriots. Edelman is one of my favorite players of all time, this brings me so much joy. Forever, a Pats fan
the more interviews and podcasts from football players (or most pro athletes tbh) that I watch, the more i realize it almost always starts with a father that instills an incredible work ethic and regimen in them, and/or a mother they desperately want to take care of and let retire. parents really are the biggest force in your life, even after they've passed.
@@matty8639 and also, don't forget to Pat McAfee wants to eat for Last meal with Mythical Josh, please make it happen!!!! He is Former NFL Punt players and WWE Commentary booth ever!!!
Wow, I just got into NFL this year and didn't know who Edelmann was 😅 I'd go over to my brother's for MNF. This is by far my favorite interview. Learned a lot and gained a deep appreciation for the sport and Edelmann.
i am someone who doesn't watch sport events ever, but i still love when Josh gets to do videos like these with the athletes he respects so much. i do not know any of the sports people they invite but they're always so charming and its fun watching Josh be so giddy about his guest and listen to them discuss things i just know nothing about. sidenote: get Marshawn Lynch on the show! he's such a funny guy. i'd love to see him and Josh together.
6:37 I think Julien just had his mind blown on the deviled egg conundrum😂 This was another beautiful, in-depth, thought provoking and funny interview. I respect the heck out of Julien.
Josh I was not initially a fan of yours when I saw you on GMM, but this series has really endeared me to you. Love the idea, energy, and topics of discussion. Also appreciate and admire your willingness to be vulnerable.
This is great. I dont watch football and dont know this dude but the personality in the conversation and way Josh leads makes all of these so enjoyable
Thank you for having such diverse guests!! I’ve really gotten to know so many people I never had an interest in & it’s really opened my eyes. Please keep up the great work!!! ❤❤❤
Love having the Football guys on here. Edelnut was such an amazing player and it was an honor to be able to watch him, Gronk, Brady, Danny, Slate, Ninkovich, Big Vince, Devon, all those guys play!
this has been one of the most enjoyable serious that I have got the privilege to watch. The thought provoking questions mixed with these amazing guest and delicious food just makes it the perfect type of video for me. I hope this serious stays alive for a long time because I plan to enjoy it for as long as I can.
Frakkin love the "Edel Man" the intensity he brought to the field was incredible. When he talks about his Dad you can hear the love in his voice and the fact that he knows he needed what his Dad did for him. My three kids are very different and learning who needs the kik in the butt, who needs the hug and who needs the words of encouragement to bring out their best
JE11 is my favorite Patriots player not named Tom Brady. He was so clutch in the biggest moments. He's the type of guy Boston fans love, drafted late, had to earn everything he got, extremely hard working, occasionally gets in trouble late at night ;)
i'm not a sports person in any ways but my favourite last meal episodes are always the ones that feature sportsmans, the vibes are just great even though i don't have a clue what they're saying once they start talking about the games haha
The video he did with Kevin Hart was absolutely hilarious! You got to watch it! Even when he was on the Kelce Brothers podcast, he was just as hilarious!
I love this series so much! I love the guests, the food always looks amazing, and it's a fun concept. What I really, really love is how well Josh interviews - he connects with each and every person that comes on the show and his ability to seemlessly create chemistry draws me in every time and makes me excited for the next episode! I hope this series continues for a long time.
I learned how to juggle when I was about 18 or 19. It improves your natural reflexes exponentially. It’s not bs. It’s muscle memory. Could be a wild throw nobody thinks you’re gonna catch and you could be throwing it back before ppl know what happened.
Seeing as we've already had Jason, getting Travis Kelce on would be a plus. I'd be curious as to how his last meal would be different from his brother's.
I have no interest in NFL given I'm not an American or a sports enthusiast, but this was so fun and so real it kinda makes me wish I was. I know just enough to have a very vague feel for the sorts of things they're describing, but Julian makes it so entertaining. Live your best life buddy!
Jack Black and Adam Sandler would be my two I would love to see on here. That being said, I've loved the guests so far. I haven't known a few of them/haven't really been interested in the guest themselves but watched anyway just because it's Last Meal, and ended up finding out new interesting people/being more interested in them just because I knew more about them as people.
My life has officially been completed. My #1 favorite player who I've been in love with since 14 years old and my favorite RU-vid channel collide 😱😱❤️❤️ .... Also Josh's hair this episode 🔥
Julian Edelman reminds me so much of the actor Jon Bernthal (the guy who played Shane on the walking dead). Not necessarily the way he looks, but the way he talks and his facial expressions
i love how Josh has created a space where he gets to eat great food and make great conversation with some of the heroes of the world. Between this and Tom Hanks Im just in awe. Go MK go
we have deviled eggs every holiday, i hold myself back from eating more than 12 just because other people want them too. ill generally eat 8 then a full normal holiday meal on top of that
The NFL (and many sports leagues) are often litigious about using their clips. Often times it’s easier to avoid the hassle involved. But it’s always cool when you can have it, even if it’s also more work for the editor.
Excellent episode. I have been catching up with other celebs but i tell you, if I had a last meal, it would be breakfast for dinner. Two or three fried eggs, over easy, half a rasher of crisp bacon, a couple chicken apple sausages, crispy hash browns with a thick breakable crust, cheesy grits (just because), toast with butter and jam, fresh OJ, yogurt and berries. I love these episodes!
