This is how I built my own FPV ground station.
Parts list:
Used car head rest monitor
Hobbyking Bixler 2
Turnigy Nano-tech 460mah 3c lipo
2.1mm F:2.5 Turnigy Micro FPV Camera Lense
DIY Bixler FPV camera mount
900MHZ 200mW Tx/Rx & 1/3-inch CCD Camera NTSC 520TVL
$20 Plastic foam gun box from walmart
E-flite 12v AC adapter

good work. small correction, antennas are conductors with resistance. The tx needs conductance and not resistance, simple ohms law.

Awesome, I have the exact same setup in the post, shame about the camera colour, is it like that for all of the cheap cameras? Almost seems black and white. Lil tip, try make the commentary a bit more interesting, its a tad dull hehe.

Ive got the exact same fpv kit the picture seems a little dull but then every now and then the couler goes into over drive and seems a bit bright / kinda fluro brightens up my day. ive been using the fpv kit in my rc car but plan to use in my bixler 2 when I can fly it with out smashing it to bits haha

Cool where did you purchase the cameras at? Also how far is the range on the ground?

The camera is from HobbyKing.com I am not sure of the range yet. I am afraid to push the boundary. I just creep further and further each time. I'm not out very far yet.

JackIsMyCopilot ive used mine on a rc car got roughly 200mtres behind brick houses and all I guess the range would be sky high when on a plane, pun intended
