Haven't been able to get to the pond in a while due to getting sick. So I dusted off some of my display boats and ran them in the pool. I had my Graupner Littorina and Billing Boats White star putting around slowly in my pool last night while I sipped on my Corona Virus Whisky. Sometimes you need to slow things down in life. I'll probably hold off going to the pond until the leaves grow back on the trees and it gets a little warmer. Good to see the old shrimp is still in service. Cheers!

I know exactly what you mean about not running boats if the moneys tight. These little thing can cost a lot when you have quite a few of them. I run in salt water and I’m lucky to have 2 boats going at any one time. Some times I’m down to no boats and that’s out of 6 riggers. My mono usually goes but I don’t wring every last bit of speed out of it. It does 62 mph (100 kph) but it seams boring compared to a rigger. I’m away from home at the moment so it was great you ran a boat so I could get my daily fix. Thanks man.

I agree, the connectors are the worst part of running in salt water, usually where the wires solder into the buckets, had a hard time keeping my balance leads free from corrosion too even running in brackish water.. windings in my motors tend to stay fairly clean from corrosion, guess it's the coating tp puts on there wires?

Nice, I been wanting to make a boat like that. Only I was thinking of making a full hull with F/R hydrofoils.

So- a bit of a question on the construction: Should the edges (chines) be kept square, or can they be sanded to a nice radius?

You actually want a nice crisp/sharp edge.

Riggers are too much fun, way too much. Easy to build, easy to dial in / modify.. Stainless straight (!) turn fin & prop, TP Power, splash cooling only, elongate tub by 10%. Carbon hull (custom made) and of course TWIN drive (Rocket motors are great !) Try outrunners for a change, great torque and sound. Can be stacked up to ONE shaft ! You're Shrimp does very well !

I HAVE A RESCUE TUG . GOING TO UPGRADE BRUSSLES, BETTER SERVO, 4 OR 6 CHANELL RECEVER , AND A CAMERA SO I CAN TRAP BOATS EZ, IN THE POOL NOODEL.

Try going into settings and advanced video options and there's a 360 audio recording

That's what I mean, I've tried 360 audio and zoom in the mic, both sound about the same. With my Samsung s20 ultra, I used the 360 audio for years with zero to no complaints. This new 23 ultra must have an internal issue or something? Thanks for the help, I sure appreciate it. BG4L
