Can’t help but think the devs’ priorities aren’t where they should be

Didnt expect a dark deception game in 2024 but here we arebi guess, now we just gotta wait 198 more years to get a new game that they will probably forget to announce again.

I really don't see what the point of making a remake was when the main games remaining chapters haven't even been released yet, it's just wasting resources. I mean there's some novelty in making a top down version of the game, as if it's going further into the pac man like roots and the pixel art is decent enough (although the lack of an top and down sprite makes the player movement look weird), but the mechanical appeal of dark deception partly was that it was a 3d pac man like, you couldn't always see the monster chasing you, combined with the shakey camera movement, it made for a more thrilling chaser game, theres a tense energy knowing you could go from searching to running at any moment. As a novelty this seems neat, but it's like their missing the point of their own game by making a game like this.

Let me clarify: Agatha doesn’t have 2 bosses fight, only 1. Malik boss fight is not a boss fight, it’s a chase sequence. The third boss fight is not a named giant, it’s called Titan watcher

I like how in this version when Malak asked abt the last person who trusted her bierce looked sad but in the original bierce just looks away

disappointing to see that this wasn't a fangame, and that the devs have been wasting their time + money for years.

I like the stranger sewers escape sequence. Somehow it feels more intense for me than the 3d version. Just me?

No clue why people are complaining about this game. It’s clear that chapter five is taking a long time to make, and the devs gave us this game to provide us with content after so long. You’re all acting like we haven’t gotten any news when there have been countless teasers!! Just be patient and be grateful that we’ve gotten some sort of game after two years.
