I had this on the SNES and I don't care what reviewers said back then or are saying now, I loved this game. Yes, the story was short and left you wanting more, but that's only because you've had fun so far! For the time the graphics looked great, the combat was very satisfying and the music just so rad 🤙🏻
Mission 2 was my favorite theme for a long time. It really got me in the zone when playing this game. This soundtrack was head of its time when this game launched. Thx for the nostalgia :)
12:01 Mission 4 always had the best theme imo. Check out the cover uploaded by the channel darkultra. The original uploaders channel got deleted it seems.
I have to disagree with that. I love the pacing of this game. My best friend and I would routinely play through this to see if we could beat our personal best. Good times.
@@kiralofgrobbulus346 thibk he means the sprite slowdown. The sprites were big for Snes so when u had alot of stuff going on you got the slowdown like fps dropping down
Gezuz this OST is so bangin.' The game wasn't too bad. Had some great combat ideas but there was SO much filler between parts and long ass levels for a beat em up. If it was paced better with maybe those cut cutscenes they said they planned this coulda been of best double dragons. Still dig this port tho and the awesome SFX. Hwahh!
Yeah it needed more innovative stuff, like the cave from DD1, helicopter ride and trap rooms from DD2, tomb from DD3, and etc. I think the game got rushed into completion because the company was failing, or some other team took over the project.
and pretty bland in general. There were no surprises like the cave from DD1, the helicopter ride and trap mansion from DD2, and the Egypt tomb in DD3. It was all "walk left to right and fight 50 similar guys"
