Good lesson, and not just for kids. Good practice for figuring how much paint to use vs. water. Especially when you're using watercolour paint!

This is the exact kind of watercolor I need to try on the watercolor notecards I bought ages ago but was too afraid to try anything for fear of wasting it. Basic, colorful, wet in wet (my favorite). Plus, I love hearing you speak as I have a friend who is Polish. You both are kind and encouraging.

Marta, my girls and I love to watch you. Have so many ideas now. We live in Alaska and love to read about Ireland. Anyway, i thought you would be interested in a tip about coffee dyeing. If you use instant coffee get your paper wet, then sprinkle the instant coffee on. Depending on the amonut of water you use will give different effects. Heavier coffee spinkles wont dissolve as much and will give texture and have a gorgeous sparkle and glossy look. I did a tree trunk and branches with the instant coffee. It came out gorgeous. Hope you try it and fall in love with it as I did. Will keep watching. Thanks for all the great ideas.

Marta it was wonderful to see Emily at your side!! You have quite the artist there!! Maybe she could do other cards too, and you could sell them?! There is a market there for that!! Beautiful! My granddaughter is three (almost four) so she will do something shorter, and how she wants. This will be great for when she is done asserting her will! Age 4 or 5 (?)
