I have more than 10K miles on the lift with no issues. I think it's pretty clear Ford had a bad batch of front CV axles as many people have had problems. I don't think it had much to do with lift kits as I've seen lots of stock trucks experience the same problems.
Keep in mind price, $20 extra here for X plus $100 for Y then suddenly $1000 in upgrades to mfg = $3000 to us or whatever that cost formula is. Price is a big reason these sell. I bought mine and put all I could from factory then started adding things I prefer when I can. I love driving my Maverick
Kind of an unnecessary job. Factory lights are sufficiently bright. If the upgrade is for nervous drivers to feel more comfortable with super bright lights, go for it. They look so bright that they may blind tail-gaters as well. Leave in the factory bulbs.
