This is Tunisian Crochet, which is Crochet, not Knitting; however, it almost looks like it with the right stitches. The thing is that it is not parallel vertical chains -- which is how the yarn is "woven" with knitting needles. This is crochet, which is more like a convoluted float, and eats the most yarn. Of course, a knitting machine is a row of parallel crochet hooks sequentially feeding from a common thread, but remember: Dropping a knitted stitch causes a ladder all the way down the work; dropping a crocheted stitch causes the row to be susceptible to frogging itself, but not as catastrophically as in knitting. Two different arts. Two different effects. Two different fabrics. Enjoy them both!!!
@@xitshembisomabobo6828 Could you count the stitches on the longer piece at the end? I do not crochet so I would not know, just a thought. I just went back and counted it’s 41, start and end with 2, and fill in between with 5+3+5+3+5+3+5+3+5, so depending on how big you want your blanket, or how big your yarn is 🙂
My mom is so good at knitting I did nt know that she can do it After almost passed away , I opened her luggage I found all her knitting She told me that she went to knitting class for supporting her life if smthing happen Now she is Rip 🥲❤️
I think I am dyslexic with this stuff….or some version thereof. I can’t look at someone doing this, THIS CLOSE! And I can’t mimic. So depressing. Looks like such fun!
Vielen Dank fūr das interessante Video. 🤗🍀🥀Das Muster gefällt mir und daher etwas dazu gelernt, insbesondere wie das Muster hergestellt wird. 🌷Wūnsche eine sonnige Woche.
