❤️❤️❤️ this journal cover and the gorgeous tassel!! The yarns are very nice-I purchased several beautiful yarns recently with the idea of making tassels. I haven’t been able to get them done yet, but I will! Now I know how to create them! - Rebecca

I love love these colors and thank you so much for the shout-out ❤️ I love putting the tassels on clips that way it can be put anywhere on the book or you can even hang it in ur craft room for decoration like I do sometimes ❤️❤️😍thanks again Tracie ,,love your work and can’t wait to see all 10 books 😁
Yay, I am so glad you like them. I just saw it and wasn't quite sure as you didn't give me a good look :-D I just thought it was a brilliant idea, had to give it a go as there was no other way I could put tassels on these and I love a good dangle! xxx
Tracie Fox LoveJunk Journals don't we all love!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 Sorry, couldn't resist a bit of British banter with you! Americans probably like...eh??? Lol! Brits love a bit of suggestive sarcasm! 😜😜😜
Thanks for the inspiration!! Just 2 notes. You can remove those silver bits from the clips by squeezing them. This make it easier to put the yarns in and then squeeze again and pop back into the clip. You also asked about waxing your own thread and you can just buy a small chunk of beeswax. I cant remember where I got mine but I'm sure you can find it on Amazon. Thanks for your great ideas!
Fantastic tutorial! I have been eager to make a tassel and have watched and learned several different methods, now I can add this one to my bag of tricks!❤️❤️❤️
Tracie Fox LoveJunk Journals have you seen Paula Foerder’s tutorial(inspired by this video) in which she teaches how to cover your bull-dog clips with fabric to match the tassel? ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Tracie. Very nice tutorial. You can open up the binder clip to easily slip the ribbons on. Just pinch the 2 wires together but the wire shouldn't be in the straight up position but sort of tilted forward (probably as clear as mud). So one wire is left in its slot, put the ribbon on and then squeeze the other wire back in its slot. I've completely removed the wires before and then the base can be covered with fabric. Makes it very pretty.
Tracie you are AWSOME. Have been subscribed for a while now. Love your work. Have not commented b 4 as I Have seen all the other comments that said all I would gave said, Maggie
Love love love the colors you used. Very nice to see different ways to do these tassels. I can't seem to find any of the silk ribbon tho, where do you get yours??? Thank you for sharing your technical and style. Love your videos. 😀😀😀😀
Love it great Idea using bulldog clips. What kind of Varnish do you use Tracie, I was asked to make a journal for my girlfriend, She wants to keep momentous from her late husband in it along with her thoughts & stories about him.
I found these are even easier when you clip your clip to something like the edge of the table when tying your knot. That way it's not sliding around. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful.
