Can you add your own roms/homebrew games onto it? Delete some of them to increase performance?

Hello Peter, I think you can add homebrew with no problem but haven't tried. I forget the percentage but yes, you should keep a percentage of your drive free to get maximum performance. Thanks for watching!

Hey there! Does this flash cart work with any enhancement chip games, like Mario Kart or Yoshi's Island? I'm looking at buying one and that would be my only hangup. The nice thing about the Genesis flash carts is that there are no extra chips for anything but Virtua Racing, so those carts have pretty much 100% ROM compatibility

Mario Kart use a DSP chip and Yoshi Island the Super FX chip. This flashcart doesn't support any special chip game.

I got one but it didnt come with an SD card or anything. What do i download for it?

Hello Vlance and thanks for watching. Insert micro sd card into PC 8GIG is plenty big enough. Format drive to fat32, smaller cards are usually already formatted to fat32. make a folder and named it sevd or savd, not sure, mine is sevd. You can download your backups at archive.org and start my video for instructions. Hope this helps and happy gaming!

I bought a cartridge like this and it won't play super metroid i get a piracy message on start up.

Did you try a different rom of Super Metroid.

@kelleytech yup several different roms even a hacked version. I did Crack open. The cartridge and it looks like a clone of the everdrive v1 but missing a handful of components.

@@mgrabo1024 Unfortunately not all Super Everdrives are created equal. Its kind of A toss up, you never know what your going to get. Still though, I wonder why Super Metroid wont work. Do all the other Roms you have tried work?
