This project was a lot of fun! Hundreds of hours into this build. I did not actually get a chance to g p s the speed. I've driven a lot of boats. We had to be going 40 plus. Driving this rig was so much fun. I only got the chance to run it in this video. I don't think we had the jet at exactly the correct angle or the bucket because it was sliping at Wot. This was the first time I had ever driven a boat like this, so it was all new to me. I had to ease into the throttle and get it moving before I could open it up. The customer took it home and did some minor modifications. He was extremely happy with the boat and uses it regularly to fish the Rappahannock River. I'm going to have to take a trip to visit him and get some more footage of this one! Not to mention, I want to drive it again, lol!
Big shout out to Matt Strykul with @SBFishing
for recording the water test. Unfortunately some of the audio is off. Nothing he did. Ive been messing with this video for a couple weeks trying to figure it out with no luck. So please bear with me I know its not perfect! thanks!
