need more guides like this breaking down each movement tech. I think this is well explained and wish you had more videos like it. Thank you for what you have already made though will be watching the rest of your content
Thanks, man! These take time. Working on getting weekly uploads out :) My most recent video covers the basics of wall bouncing and fatigue bouncing. Thursday I’ll be covering Window Magnetism. Lmk what you want a break down of next!
@@psychosplit9015 you’re in luck! I made a video on how to tap strafe on MNK and controller :) Here it is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NMC0NbJ57Rg.html
Nice vid! Just a note. This technique you showed is an elite jump. For ghost jumps you need to be mid-air when interacting with the zip. You’re sliding and then interacting with the zip while still having ground contact here. Unfortunately ghost super jump is not possible because you need ground contact for super jumps.
You’re right! You’re not the first to bring it up. I’ll make an edit to clarify that the final tech is NOT a ghost interaction but it is an elite jump.
I was thinking the same thing but it is actually a little more like a coyote super jump instead of an elite jump since they turn 180 before they interact, not after but the terms get weird there
i've watched a couple of movement tutorials explaining zip tech and none of them except yours explained that you dont need to (and shouldnt) jump before grabbing the zip for a super jump. took me forever to figure out what i was doing wrong in the firing range.
dude thank you, i didnt even know about ghost jumping but this was actually really easy to follow and ive been doing it more now :D also appreciat the fact you slowed down the footage and explained the inputs too
Ive been thinking about using R5 as well, have you ever had an account banned for playing around in modded apex? Would love to just have a lobby to myself to practice. Another solution would be if the devs would just put an elevator shaft in the firing range but they are too busy making skins.
It didn’t take long for me to master most of the advanced movement techs you’ll see on my channel. I’ve only been on MNK for around 700 hours and been trying to master advanced movement tech for a lot less. I had to relearn almost everything after making the switch to PC.
That building is iconic for zipline movement. However, I the zip lines in firing range work perfectly as well! You don’t need R5 to practice every movement tech. You honestly don’t need R5 for any. But it does help you begin to understand how to utilize them in game more
Glad you like the video! I used this: github.com/ThoNohT/NohBoard/releases However, I recommend watching this video to get the transparent background: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LXmwDT2yfwk.html
@@move_noaim i have one question i have been trying to get this and mantel jump and when i get either the issue i am having is i never get the verticality to end up ontop of the shaft to have a chance to tap strafe any pointer?
@@remylordski That usually means you're mantle jumping too late. If you're trying to Elite Jump and don't get the vertical height, you're also attaching to the zip too late. To super jump in both cases, you still need to be touching the ground. For a mantle jump, it means you need to step back a little earlier. (I actually made a tutorial for mantle jumping that has slow motion and overlays for all inputs). The best time to mantle jump is typically right as the floor comes into view. For an elite jump, you have to just barely be touching the ledge of the zip shaft before super jumping and spinning a 180. If you notice the slow motion, i attach to the zip just before falling over the ledge.
@@move_noaim I watched your mantle many times that’s what I was working on when I stumbled on this video and then checked your channel for the mantle video and yes my mantle are happening more frequently and it thanks to this and the other video I know it’s going to take some time to master but I don’t get the hight but I do travel far just don’t get the hight
@@move_noaim and yes I know what floor frame and frames your mentioning it just frustrating because I never get the hight coming out of the shaft but I have had like 3/4 inside the the shaft and it was like hitting my first super glide felt good wish I could start getting it as I’m coming out the shaft to be able to a got on the very top of it or redirect anywhere
I use a side button on my mouse to Reload and to swap weapons. You can also switch your holster button to swap weapons since you’re already comfortable tapping it. It really depends on your comfort and ease 🤷🏻♂️
Ah, that’s just a zip jump. To super jump your character must be on the ground still. So, feet on the ground, E, scrollwheel jump almost immediately after.
Do you mean during the 180? Or tap strafe after you’ve hit the super jump? The initial spin isn’t a tap strafe, you just whip your mouse to turn your character and super jump. Once you hit the super jump, you have around 2ms to 3ms to hit the 180 tap strafe to land on top. Tap strafing after the super jump can take a lot of practice and patience. The timing is a bit strange. If you’re in R5, you can slow the time by adding in the command Host_timescale 0.5 Or Host_timescale 0.75 To reduce the time by 50% or 25%.
in R5 reloaded. It is for PC only. I made a video on how to install it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vky90qn8uKs.html Once it’s installed you can run an command that’s spawns dummies :)
I’ve actually been addressing that in my recent videos and the ones I’ve been editing. Realized I was blowing out everyone’s ears trying to focus on the Voice Over 😂 Thanks for the kind words and advice! I appreciate all constructive criticism 🙏🏻✌🏼
@@move_noaim Thanks, however, here are no condensed list of movement techs but it's ok , I will sub to you to look out for cool and useful movement techs!
@@ruxiangg7312 haha, the list is a bit too long to just throw out. Thanks for the sub! I post Apex related educational content every Thursday :) This week will be covering R5 Reloaded 🤙🏼
Could be a timing thing. It took me quite a while to nail the input timing to super jump. You have to make sure that when you interact with the zip, you’re still touching the ground
It’s called R5 reloaded! I made a video on it a few weeks back. If you’re on PC, you can install it! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vky90qn8uKs.html
this was supposed to be hard but the way you explained is amazing. I'll give you 10/10. Can you please create video on mantle jump. The same one but its is from zip to ghost.

I think it is necessary as your window to jump is super small. so having it on the scroll wheel will input a consistent multiple scrolls in a short time. you will most likely definitely hit that jump input

It’s all about timing and making sure you’re still sliding on the ground when you interact. Sometimes it helps to release other keys and only focus on interacting and jumping
try doing a normal elite jump first from the bottom of the zipline and standing still, if you're having trouble still, there was a tip in eskyja's video that helped me a lot, an elite jump step by step is an interact 180 turn then you superjump right when you finish the 180 think about these three movements separately when you attempt it. What helped me specifically as well is going in r5reloaded using ~ to open console and using the commands sv_cheats 1 ;host_timescale 0.5, this slows down time to .5 speed and you can try and elite jump and increase it when you can get it down consistently in .5, it also motivated me because at first i thought it was impossible after trying for about 2 hours. And if i'm an idiot and you can actually elite jump but can't do this one, just do the same host_timescale thing and try to find the frame where the interact comes up, or just hold interact which was what i did. This took me a total of about 3 hours to hit my first good elite jump in normal speed, and i still don't have it consistent.
I've seen Treeree do that multiple times on his stream but if I remember he said it was an Elite Jump. For example this video that he made a year ago : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZM_WZgglC3E.html
I’d say they’re different faces of the same coin. So, yes, an elite jump, but with a ghost interact. Treeree’s vid is pre-ghost interact discovery so it would make sense to call it an elite jump at that time. (180 super jump)
