Addamo with the Pete Sampras hair AND the tennis shorts at the table. What a baller...plus that all-in call against Bill Klein earlier with QQ. Another level!
glad to see addamo's bluff shove move work. bonomo must've been going through the previous hands where addamo pulled this with complete air, so sick that the 10 came on the river. addamo is just on another level
@@Zoggyboyzimmy no way some random internet dude just called Michael Addamo a whale and told one of the most successful players how he should have played this hand.
@@felixacb8895 as unlikely as it seems, there’s some top pros in the RU-vid comments too 😋 Instead of blindly defending your favorite live regs, you should think about whether their strategies actually make sense.
honestly I was surprised to see a normal human reaction rather than stoically / robotically shaking everyone's hand. I would have thrown my chair probably, lol; the guy lost a coin flip for a million dollars, literally
@@paulhiggins140 Not sure how he reacted before but he suffered a similar bad beat recently with AK vs 93s on the bubble also. Hard to not react getting bubbled from these huge tournaments.
@@tonyv7753 He definitely deserves his bracelets, but he's just a great player from a different stage in poker history who is having as much trouble adapting to today's young superstars as everyone else.
I bet a lot of people would wonder if Addamo is bluffing with the dry Ace of diamonds in their hand there. It's really tricky to know what to do if you don't sit in front of a computer all day punching in hands on your solver.
Addamo played well…really well and ran pure. That’s not beatable. Edit: Justin just keeps getting there on the big ones. So good as well. Unfortunate 10 on the river but when someone’s running pure…villain rivers top 2.
He can not possibly have 100% of himself in that tournament. All these guys have backers or sell action, the appropriate bank roll for this tournament is 30mill
@@imalwaysbluffing andddddd…what’s your point given the comment you’re responding towards? When Ali interviewed Chris afterwards, he was devastated and it was tough empathizing with where he was at that point in time. It was a $1m swing on his bankroll whether or not his percentage of investment. Most backing deals aren’t free rolls…you go into the red if you’re not in the green. Did you even see his interview?
Its not a 1m swing.. he’s in for 300k? You dont enter a tournament expecting to cash, especially with only 3 players getting paid… Also he wouldnt be in that position if could afford it.
@@joewalkerr5027 Funny how the guy who bubbled is - 300k. But the guy cashing for 3rd gets a pure milly profit even though he bought in for 300k as well.
shows you how far things have fallen where an event like this gets just 21 entires. i get its crazy high buyin, but didnt there used to be double this amount when they first started it?
People literally will complain about ANYTHING, just enjoy the free content guy. Someday when you have enough $$ to afford a 300K buy in (cough cough, LOL) then maybe you can bitch about the tournament structure.
Sort of disappointed in the plethora of hands that could be beating bono…for an all in bet against your two pair. That should be an easy fold. Applied pressure sure, possibility of bluff sure, but the mere fact that he didn’t have the ability to fold and pick a better spot does not make him a champ. Next time Bono pick your spots to make calls if you want to be #1
@@edrosenbloom1156 Sure…constructive criticism is all I’m suggesting. I’ve been in places like that in smaller stakes and learned from the mistakes I’ve made.
Addamo is a great player but I don't think he played the last hand good. Q10 is the only hand his opponent might call with. Straights, sets, QQ and 10 10 wouldn't have checked back the flop. I think betting smaller or going for a check raise is much better here, since a big Q with a diamond is the most likely combo Justin can have
Couldn't disagree more. I'd watch this every day. Such masterful play at the highest level of competition and financial pressure. Pure poker. That isn't to say I wouldn't also watch the same lineup play a 10k hyper with no time extensions. But what a skill clinic this was.
