I ADORE long videos. I treat them like a get ready with me, i get my curling iron out, my makeup, my snacks and i play the whole damn thing. I hate when im in the middle of getting rdy and i only have an hour to get rdy (haha ONLY) and i need to click thru six 10 minute long videos when i could have been spending the time listening to one. I am an advanced make up user so a lot of your videos are reminders and refreshers for me but I’ve been sending friends who want to learn more to your channel and they’re all obsessed with you! I would love to see a video on your take on using color theory to drive make up looks. Basically helping people understand how when certain undertones mix they become muddy that sort of thing. I’m only asking because I’m pretty sure I thought you said that you used to paint (or maybe still paint?) and I did too. Understanding that shit makes makeup so much easier

Like the kind of advice where if you want orange and green to butt up next to each other in an eye look you use yellow as a tiny transition between them to prevent muddying the blend. Idk if this makes sense I’m so hung over from NYE 😂😭

I would love a no edit tutorial, especially for eyeshadow, I'm a complete newbie and I never know how long to blend, if that makes sense? Also, I'm not sure, but I don't think you're meant to mix sunscreen with moisturiser, I think it interferes with the efficacy of the SPF

Whoever thinks your videos are too long are crAzy. The longer your videos the better! Alex, I think you’re absolutely beautiful but your artistry and talent are simply breathtaking. It’s so obvious to see with every brushstroke that you are a true artist and have the perfected eye for angles, shadows, tones, and contours of the face. I become so inspired while watching your videos yet intimated because your creations are just perfection. I also injured my knee about 2 months ago and I’ve been miserable since. I would definitely be interested in an uncut tutorial. Glad you started to feel better in time to go home for the holidays. Flying ill or injured not only sucks but the pressure changes can be painful
