I also want to say, the person leading this review did it so well and in detail that I wanted to write this comment. Please do not be afraid of reflections in the mirrors, the viewers are interested in the details of the boat and I think that your reflection in the mirror will not bother anyone, honestly, this is not a problem.

What an absolutely beautiful vessel. I love power catamarans. So much space in this one! Only thing I would add is a jacuzzi and then I'm set haha

Beautiful ship 2018 in this condition is new! The mate that did the walk through for us was very good he didn't leave anything untouched! I wouldn't want to go through any storms like we had in 2017 but I love all the neutral and lighting. Thanks for your time Gary

I believe this vessel has had an inverter upgrade from the 2x 5KVA to 4x 8KVA inverters.

Good presentation but I still prefer Sunreef Powe Cats. While it isn't always possible to get a true sense of quality from a video, I just felt the Sunreef 80 is a higher quality yacht. I also felt this Cat is under powered and had an odd cabin layout. The price was excellent.

yeah me too sunreef 80is way more robust and its just quality plus with all that stuff about the Lagoon 55s bulkheads buckling on over 50-60 boats puts me off and Lagoon won't take responsibility everyone has been left with the bill to sort it them self's some boats have been left un sailable. type in the search { parley revival bulk head } and see for yourself i would never buy one there very poorly built..

I think the price is well worth it. Granted that after market items and equips are inclusice already. Usually spend around 10 to 20% of the boats value for those.

The after market items are all included in the asking price so you're right the price is very reasonable.

Don't be a fool, Lagoon is famous for crappy structural work hiden by tons of glued pieces that can't be removed to inspect the 4 primary bulkheads. Lagoon uses construction glue that ages, flex, and cracks after a few years on all their bulkheads. Any manufacturer that uses glue to secure a bulkhead should be avoided at all cost....no matter how much lip stick is on the pig.

@@graceorchard Sun Reef is the most superior Cat. But it is 70 to 80% more expensive than Lagoon. I compared both for a while and I end up with Sun Reef. Sun-Reef has a much superior craftsmanship than Lagoons. They usual take about 20-24 months to get it done. For a Cat of 80 Ft you must be prepare to pay around 7,4 million Euros. The Lagoon one is 4-4,3 million for a 78 feet one.

4000 nautical miles, how much food storage is there dry storage for veggies and freezer space down below to keep the crew and passengers??

I assume you mean the opening "balcony" from the owners' cabin. This is an option on the Lagoon SEVENTY 8 and it wasn't chosen by the owner of this vessel.

Seems like the asking price is right around the original sales price for a boat that is now two years old. An overly optimistic owner or just leaving space for negotiations?

Hi there, this is definitely not the original cost price of this vessel. As mentioned throughout the video this boat has literally every box ticked so with all of the options and additional inclusions the owner has decided to pass over (cleaning, maintenance and upgrades they did themselves) this is incredibly good value for a boat that presents literally as new after been meticulously looked after full time by crew.

So famous tennis player Rafael Nadal just purchased an 80 footer from sunreef that has a jet ski stored underneath the lounge, this allows him to have a tender and a jet ski

8-10kts is the most efficient hull speed to get the max range out of the fuel capacity.

All well and good. The condition of the boat is fantastic...why? Because it has professional crew. Don't sell the boat as owner / operator...it'll look like shit in a year.

Lagoon do not do tampolines on the Motor Yacht versions of catamarans

@@gsadventures678 The movement in a sailing yacht it very different and the trampolines are necessary for water to flow through in rough conditions. This is not necessary on motor yachts and therefore to maximise the bow space they do not put them on the motor yachts.
