Burn The Floor is iconiccc! 💙 Those high operatic notes at 6:08 were Ryeowook! 😳 Super Clap is also legendary to me as it was the first song of theirs I heard. The dance practise vid of it is cool!

As you may know, Super Junior are some of the originators of Kpop. They are considered the godfathers of everything that makes Kpop what it is today. "Super Clap" is their lead track from their 9th album, which came out in 2019. This song and MV has a retro vibe and it's the reason why the album is called Time Slip. They also have 4 pre-release songs from this album you should check out -- "Show", "Somebody New", "The Crown" and "I Think I" "I think I" is their second promotional song and MV. The video for "The Crown" says it's a lyric video, but it's different then a normal lyric video -- it's actually an MV that was created for the song that is sort of a behind the scenes of them recording the song and behind the scenes of their photo shoot for this comeback and album, etc.They also have a special "behind the scenes" video for their song "Somebody New" and a special video using footage from their previous concert tour for their song "Show" which are all songs off this album. This "Super Clap" comeback was the first time we finally had all of the members back after serving in the military. Kyuhyun is the maknae of the main group of Super Junior, and his solo dance break at the end of "Super Cap" was a special moment given to him by their choreographer as a celebration for the fact that this was his first comeback after being released from the military. So after almost 9 years, all the members had finally completed their military obligations, and they were coming back as a full group (or as complete of a group as they are able to be at the moment.) So there are 9 members involved in this comeback -- Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. Each episode is less than 10 minutes long. But they give you a really good look at how everything is created. All of Super Juniors concerts are named Super Show and that's always abbreviated as SS. So, the SS on the screen of the Dance Dance Revolution game I think is meant to represent Super Show, like the title of their world tours, which most fans would recognize. Their most recent concert was SS8. SS is part of SuJu's brand. Plus, you can interpret the SS as they have achieved Super Special ranking in the game -- and in the industry -- because of their legendary status and longevity. SS is their score/rank, not the title of the song. The bubbles are an important part of the storyline. They create CGI bubbles because in the lyrics it says, "every trouble will disappear from your hand, Just pop it like a bubble." That is also why you see them make that circle bubble shape in the choreography because they are creating a bubble and popping it, etc. If you like their dancing in "Super Clap" you have to check out their dance practice video. I've just binged all of your super junior MV reactions and what a ride! Especially since a lot of the things you focus on were my exact reaction -- Yesung became my bias because of his vocals in Black Suit in that EXACT part of the song you also pointed out (the second pre-chorus), Yesung center in 2YA2YAO!, Ryeowook's vocals in Burn The Floor was really hypnotising, D&E in the forefront with their dancing. I really enjoyed your reactions and vids!! Can't wait for more from you!

Burn The Floor is a masterpiece. And Super Clap is an absolute bop. Comeback coming in July! Can't wait.

Fun fact: The lights you see SuJu using in their "Burn the Floor" performance are similar to the lights Ten from NCT/WayV used in his "New Heroes" MV. This song is part of Super Junior's 15th anniversary celebration. So, what you see at the beginning of all of the MVs from this album, is a teaser clip of the previous songs that were released from the album. "Raining Spell for Love" -- the remake of a B-side track from their Mamacita album in 2014 -- and "The Melody" -- their fan tribute song --were the first songs released from the album. And, of course, the vocals are insane, Super Junior is an OG group from SM Entertainment, so you shouldn't expect any less. That is just what SM is known for. As you know, you can't be an SM artist without having amazing vocals and dance skills. That's just a fact about the type of people SM selects to become part of its company. All of SM's artists were first chosen for their visuals, vocals and/or dance skills, and even the rappers get intense training as vocalists. That is why SM is known as the vocal powerhouse of the industry. Plus, Super Junior has the 3 best vocalists -- Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung -- who make up the sub-unit Super Junior-K.R.Y. Super Junior-K.R.Y. is the industry's very first sub-unit and they are a ballad unit who have an unbelievable vocal range. Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung are the vocal standard in the industry, who set the bar that all other vocalists are measured against. After more than 16 years, Super Junior has done pretty much every genre of music. SuJu are never afraid to experiment with their sound or style and they are known for coming up with original concepts and setting trends. And because the group is so diverse with so many unique members (at their peak they had 15 members), this allows them to be able to do almost anything. They are the founders of the Hallyu Wave for a reason.There is almost nothing in the Kpop industry that SuJu hasn't had a hand in creating.
