Props to Trevin for the idea! Never would have considered to incorporate Connect 4 into a video game race. I think it opens itself up to a lot of other mission/checkpoint based games!

What a fun idea! Specially putting things in little chunks, makes it a little more tight but not in a unreasonable way. It's also entertaining to see see moments like Trevin almost catching up to the first star. And moments like accidently putting yourself in a disavantige but putting yourself back into safety! Looking forwards to seeing more!

Finally had time to watch this, what a great idea for Versus! I have a suggestion, since each objective includes two stars how about letting the contestants choose in which order to tackle them?

Always fun to see more new Versus concepts! The explanations between Connect 4 chips helped with pacing and the missions kept every little race interesting 😁

New banger versus idea? Great to see!

Cool concept, but i think it could be better... Let me explain. Instead of the fastest person to complete the objective getting to place the only piece, why not have it so you both play but the winner gets to place first. This way we can avoid what kind of happened in this episode where one player has more pieces - Which seems a little unfair to me. To me, this way would be a little more strategic and it wouldn't result in one person gaining an advantage to set up their connect 4. Not sure if you toyed with that idea or not, so feel free to disregard. Y'all are the creators here, hahaha All that being said, i did enjoy the episode! Good to see the Vs. format make a return

This is a fun layer on top of versus. Pretty sure connect 4 is one of those games where first move can force a win but its less of a problem here since stars decide turn order. Would be interesting to see other games combined in the format at some point.

Trevinf really made the video 20 minutes longer than it needed by placing the pieces arbitrarily

Its a good format, I would just suggest that the loser of the previous round should pick the next missions rather than the winner

Was mentioning the coins around the pillar a call-back to one of the old Mario races (possibly original Mario 64 Versus?) where Tyler was doing the 100 coin star but couldn't find the last ones that were around the pillar? I haven't watched that video in so long, but a memory was just brought back.

His game was loading a second faster than yours there were a few spots that you went into a loading screen at the exact same time or even you before him and he always leaves it faster than you.

what about with randomizer on let it be a roulette of 2-3 levels
