Imagine what the man who edited the original trailer would think about this. his work was so fondly remembered that someone over 2 decades later remade it from scratch using modern tools. Imagine what the game designers feel •o•
Nintendo in 1996: Change the System with the Nintendo 64! Nintendo in 2020-2021: Changed almost nothing with SM64 for SM3DAS. ATi Plays: I'm about to end this man's career.
I meam theres a few, there frickin one where they talk about not being trapped in a 2dimensional world or somethin and THEEEN theres one where a person behind a greenscreen pretends hes in the game which is KINDA cringey but yknow it was the 90’s or somethin
This is even more on model than the mario 64 got milk commercial. It’s like the promotional/official art came to life. I especially like how metal mario looks with render 96.
This shit is horrible. It looks souless, wheres the charm I wish it had less polygons and black bars and pixelated textures. Why can't nintendo just sue this people. 0/10, disliked, unsubscribed and reported
I know 1996 was almost 30 years ago now, but fucking hell, I don't ever remember any kind of video that has that amount of distortion or chromatic abberation to it. People need to relax themselves a bit with that effect when doing retro style recreations. Some noise and a bit of flicker seen on VHS at the time is good enough.
