Some people pointed out some commercials I missed in the previous collection, so I did another Mario 64 commercials video. Okey? Here's it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0vBq0RtzbUM.html
Go in the fountain in the courtyard, hold the Z button while spinning the joystick, after doing this for 30 seconds, jump, then let go of the z button, but immediately push it again so that you ground pound, if done correctly, you will teleport to a secret level, after you get all of the power stars in the level, go to the front of the castle and use a glitch (or the cannon) to get to the top, you find the 90's kid, talk to him, and then you can play as him
“We won’t go in one direction” “We will not be confined” “We won’t be told how to view the world” Super Mario 3D World’s level design: *Are you sure about that?*
I remember ads getting me into games, and actually getting into other series when I used to go to the game store and the game I wanted was out of stock. (I got into fire emblem because luigi's mansion was out of stock but I loved the cover art of FE Awakening and gave it a shot). Miss the magic of getting into games like this, now its all about w/e is the flavor of the month with streamers/vtubers.
Us : revolution and gangster vibes Japan: actually showcasing the game and the game system features Uk: Mario on LSD Germany : looking like a nasa space program Spain : O K E Y
Okey is actually a vainilla and chocolate drink brand in spain The commercial was a cross promotion where if you pealed the label it would show a telephone number and you had a chance to win a n64 and mario 64 as well
90s video game advertising will never cease to amaze me. Also I like how the Japanese advertising just shows gameplay instead of some crazy wacky shit like the American ads.
The Spain one was more of a promotion than an ad It was about a juice (I guess) named Okey and with a code at the back of the sticker you could win a Nintendo 64 with Mario 64 Pretty cool I guess
what if we though that that were realistic graphics... but now we say our current games are also realistic... will games be even more realistic in 10 years?
i rate every mario 64 ad here: 0:00 mario fights for freedom 0:30 this man is having the time of his life 1:00 mario breaks 4th wall for milk 1:30 the vulture drifted in the air like if he was in tokyo drift 2:00 im literally just vibin' to the metallic mario theme in the background 2:30 the narrator seems less excited than the other ones 3:05 mario 64 is now a dramatic movie trailer 3:45 o K e Y 4:10 this man has freed the entire planet with his n64 controller 4:40 idk what this says but i think this is just the american commercial about being in 3d in french welp, u are now in the end.
Japan: Presents Mario 64 UK: Cake Germany: DER NINTENDO 64 USA: Yo check this out The netherlands: Yo lets take the american comercial and translate it into dutch
I remember the milk commercial. I was mostly amazed how amazing they made the game look (with the looney tunes face smashing effects) and loved seeing him interact in the real world and the first appearance of giant mushroom mario just owning the place. Funny enough, I don't think we would get game details and graphics looking like that until most recently when the Switch came about
@@chadgorosaurus4898 Yeah, some of the sfx are bizarre and odd, but some of it works. If they kept the sfx limited and more grounded it would've been a perfect commercial. Still great either way.
0:42 I love how he's like "Go anywhere you wanna go, Do anything you wanna do". Video games aren't even like that now. There's still un enterable buildings in open world games, and you are limited by the functions of the game so you can't just do anything. I'm surprised they said that all the way back then
That first UK trailer is the best. I live in America and I have never seen that one before but damn THAT is how you do a trailer. No talking over the gameplay, just amazing gameplay with sweet radical music. It sells itself on that. Whatever people worked on that trailer knew what they were doing
@@joevaghn457when i read this first I was like "lmao what's this dork talking about" Then I thought about it for like 5 seconds and realized you're right lol
I like the attention of detail put into the second commercial where the orange shirt guy actually interacts with the environment like covering his eyes before colliding into the wall only to be surprised it’s a secret exit.
@@SpringODc2melapela Actually more or less , because the icons are from the beta and certain things were different (They said the Game would be 97% complete )
US: hey yo radical dude! We like to be free! Woah! Laaaame! Milk makes your booooooooones stronger! Japan: hey so, we're just gonna show some actual footage and not try to make our game look any cooler than it already is because it's cool and you'll buy it bro. UK: aaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAA𝕬𝕬𝕬𝕬𝕬𝕬𝕬𝕬𝕬𝕬𝕬𝕬𝕬𝕬𝕬 Spain: Okey! Germany: Hey Lucasfilm we need some stock music for our game commercial with veggietales level 3d Mario please Nederlands: "Hey, can I copy the homework?" "Yeah, just try not to make it too obvious."
USA : Haha photoshop go brrr JP : Let us do a quick review for the game mechanics and gameplay to give them excitement UK : æ n64 ge innit SP : Økéÿ GR : Let’s fake nasa NL : CaN i CoPy ThE hOmEwOrK ?¿ ME : uwu
1:00 this perfectly captures the feeling of playing a video game in a dream - frustrating, repetitive gameplay combined with audio and visuals that feel slightly off
Man, I still remember that same “Got Milk?” Ad of SM64. I was a few months old back when. And I was really confused about this too. What a Nostalgic moment I had.
Speaking of Super Mario 64, I've played that video game at any of my cousins' house a long time ago during the late 90s, the 2000s, and even the 2010s as well. X-) Man time flies lol
