Lady, I had the honor of meeting Captain Lou and getting his autograph, but what really made him feel good was when I asked him to sign under his autograph "Mario" and he was absolutely honored to do it and said I was the only fan who ever asked for that autograph and have a picture of him signing it as well as shaking his hand and George "The Animal" Steele who was sitting with him at a wrestling legends event just before he passed away. I can without a doubt say I have the only true Mario autograph from the late and great Captain Lou and have it still in a frame to this day! I have been offered a lot of money for it, but declined each time as it is a treasure in its own rite which I thanked him graciously for! Afterwards, George asked him "Lou, what is a Super Mario?" LMAO he didn't know about the cartoon was why he asked and he too was a very great person who was also a childhood hero of mine in wrestling. Just wanted to share my story with you seeing the subject today is that show!

When I was a kid I liked the live-action part of the Super Show more than the animated part. "And if you do drugs, you go to hell before you die." - Capt. Lou Albano as Mario in a PSA. He identifies him self as Capt. Lou, but he's wearing his Mario hat.

6:50 Okay that's really wholesome indeed and honestly really awesome! Really cool and beautiful that in designing and programming this video game he is also teaching his children the ways of learning to code and animation. I think someday he'll pass on the torch. Or at the very least someday all of them will be working in the industry to keep the tradition going.

10:26 rad Ricky's running animation reminds me of earthworm Jim. Then again I'm sure a lot of characters have a running animation like that but then his jump is so similar. Not there's anything wrong with it. Earthworm Jim is awesome!

I loved the Mario Bros. Supershow cartoon as a kid as it helped me learn the English language more. I was in kindergarten when this show was released on Philippine television back to back with the legend of Zelda cartoon. Shows like dinosaucers, captain planet, duct tales, the simpsons, good to be a 90s kid

@@downscale Which I think won't happen, as the creator has gone on the record and said he is not releasing the game to the public, as he is treating this as a way to teach his kids how to make video games and code them.

Whahaha wth. How can anyone not love this channel. Its hilarious, esp if youve been watching it for awhile or have binged thru old episodes. Best Lady Decade intro ever! Made me laugh real hard. The project does look awesome. Not only it's pretty faithful to the show, but also given the somewhat generic look the current Mario games have, an entry in the series with this artistic direction would be a breath of fresh air. Last but not least... Seeing that DuckTales and Shantae footage makes me think. Those franchises should be coming up next (cosplay included of course!)

Weirdly enough, a similar idea had me go on a small detour to find out about the company that made the Zelda CDI games Link the Faces of Evil and Zelda the Wand of Gamelon. Unfortunately, the company was absorbed by a massive multimedia corporation who eventually dissolved the company into a larger multimedia company by the name of Vivendi. The only games division of Vivendi is an unrelated mobile game company. Of course, the only evidence I've found is uncited information in some wikis, so it might not be 100% accurate. What I actually wanted to do was form a game studio and see if Phillips or Animation Magic would be down for a game based on the CDI Zelda games with the obviously Zelda stuff renamed (Triforce being swapped out for Relics of Tameloc etc.) and "Link" getting a new outfit to make him legally distinct. In a perfect world, a Switch port would have an alternate costume based on Link with "Link" claiming that it's based on a hero from a book he read that inspires him to continue his knight training.
