Yeah, she tells Bowser she's sorry for leading him on all these years, and says she's leaving Mario for him. Bowser who is so happy, he becomes the hero, and Mario, after being heartbroken is the new villain going forward. Now Mario is going to kidnap Peach every game for 30 years.

This series is amazing. Thanks for playing this through ZachScottGames! I do wonder sometimes if the devs guide people to the so-called secrets a bit too much. The days of Mario 3 level secrets are gone? Maybe their decision was that because Mario games have developed so many mechanics now, the new games could potentially have SO many secrets that it would be overwhelming and they didn't want people wasting time checking every single possibility. But maybe not. Maybe there are still a few tricks up the game's sleeve?!

feels like the game could have been a lot bigger, i loved it, but it seemed short for what it was. as a side scroller there should be more room on the cartridge i would think.

"sometimes it counts and sometimes it doesn't" no no no, it ALWAYS keeps the purple coins in a regular level, but in badge challenges you ONLY keep the purple coin AFTER getting a checkpoint, otherwise you have to regrab it.

It must have been a careful balance to have enemy animations that show great character and intelligence while still being really stupid like plunging into lava. I guess they could be characterized as stubborn to a fault. Or zen.

38:30 i died like a 100 times on that final section, grabbing that final purple coin is easy, getting back on the bouncy platform is not, let alone staying alive and reaching that 3rd bouncy platform, by FAR the worst challenge/level in the game upto this point for me.
