This is part 15 of a 100% walkthrough for Super Mario Galaxy. This video includes Dusty Dune Galaxy.

True story: Several years ago, I was playing this game, and in the Dusty Dune Galaxy (as dictated here), I actually fell into the quicksand, but I narrowly escaped before I died! Crazy, huh? You know, that's possible to avoid sinking into the quicksand if you're close to a wall.

The music for this galaxy has a very similar sound, melody and instrumentation to the music from Shifting Sand Land in SM64.

@@justahillbilly7777 well, for that reason, I think this music could've been used for Melty Molten Galaxy as well and it would have worked and make things authentic since the Garden galaxies usually uses music from galaxies played earlier in the game.

If his head did spin, then he probably wouldn’t see very well. And given that dusty dune galaxy 🌌 has loads of quicksand and not many safe places to stand, meaning that even the slightest slip up can cause mario to miss his target 🎯 and land in the quicksand, they probably wanted a part of his model to stay still so he can see where he’s going, and not land in the quicksand. That part was his head. So does that answer your question?

your movements arent smooth enough or very efficient. you also arent using star bits to their full potential. you can use them to stun enemies and also destroy cannon balls in exchange for coins. there are many places you can exchange star bits for coins.
