I remember beating the game for the first time, when we were driving back home after weeks of holidays in Spain. I'd played the game for years and that entire holiday, and I'd never beaten it. But this time I persisted and finally did it. Shortly after I beat it many more times again. I learned an important lesson: things seem harder than they are until someone shows you that it's possible, even if you know it's possible. The Wario Castle, stage and boss fight music... I must've heard it for hours and hours.
Lol i woke up with the first song stuck in my head and could not for the life of me remember where it came from. Something told me it was a gameboy song and here i am!
