It would have been interesting if Panga had just shown the last screen of the level as a hint of what the code is. That way we could puzzle over the number of coins collected and the time remaining.

Why not wait a week to give out the code?

What's the point of designing a level around a code that possibly know outside of watching your videos? Why not give them a little challenge to gather information in the overworld to clues them in on what the right code is? Like have it be an auto scrolling level that plays the song "8675309".

On/off blocks with a mole in the dark (essentially an invisible maze) could let you fly past the sprite limitation. Or just swapping launcher platforms from coin to on/off blocks could make it base 9.

It appears to me that you didn't generate the password ramdomly, considering the fact that no number repeats itself for more than 3 digits (humans are very bad at making random numbers and when they try to make "random" numbers they usually leave a bunch of patterns, the number just "looks" random, theres a numberphile video on that you should search it), so you could shave off whole orders of integers, like integers that dont repeat more than 4 times and a bunch of stuff thus making the number of posibilites lower in orders of magnitude. It would still be a very large and unfeasible number though

you can use water to remove the necessity of adding vines, and also remove the one-ways as they don't serve any purpose. You can also build another combination lock in the main world, this time based around question blocks. The only ones players can see will contain spike balls that will activate another question block, but its content can't be seen. Some of them will contain spike balls that will activate other question blocks that will contain munchers (not to be triggered), and the other ones will contain big munchers (to be triggered). This design won't actually use any ELA (except for the doors, and maybe the mushroom trigger, depending on how you do it).

Is the limit reached by the coins, or by the Blasters? If the Coins, and we can double the Blasters, then we can use 3 coins for 166 combinations. Including the 0th position, 4^166 = 8.7e99. If not, can we substitute other things in for the Blasters, or do they take up enemy spots? Can a stacked Muncher bounce or bridge the Mushroom, while the Goomba underneath lets it fall through?
