Hi! Hope you're doing well! This video was planned as soon as the game came out but I guess it took longer than expected.😉 Hope you will enjoy! The comparison side by side can be found at 11:44
It was probably for general balance sake. The 4 elements are devided between 2 characters, Mario has Jump and Fire, Mallow has Electricity and Ice, same goes for the 4 status effects being devided between Bowser having Fear and Poison and Peach having Mute and Sleep. I don't think that pattern is a coincidence. It's weird that Geno doesn't get any of it, maybe they decided his good stats and ability to buff teammates made up for his lack of elements and status effects
I feel like the combat animations were a bit snappier in the original. Mario’s 3 punch combo and the sounds of his hammer are superior in the OG in my opinion
It’s way easier compared to the original, Most of the bosses I was able to beat in 2-3 turns before they could really do anything. I think they made leveling up easier too. I wish there was a hard mode. Other than that the game is great.
Just beat the game last night and while I loved the whole game it was way to easy compared to the original. I have never beaten the bosses so fast compared to the original, if they could put in a harder difficulty that would be great.
@@Sparkshot99I did fight 3D Culex and I beat him on the first try but the fight was tough. Of course post game content is going to be difficult but I would appreciate story boss battles to be a little more of a challenge or at least last longer then 2 turns.
@@PkGroundOmega Over-relying on Lazy Shell Peach to carry you is a good way to get yourself killed against the postgame bosses. It's also encouraged to rely on Mallow and Bowser more because the good Triple Moves include one of them in the party.
@@SalvadoreJQ865yea they added infinity +1 weapons for Mallow, Geno, and Bowser Mario and Peach already have those kinds of weapons in the form of Lazy Shell and Frying Pan
I think he's trying to say that enemies flinch multiple times for one attack. For example, marios punch or hammer which hit the enemy twice. ...I think
@@tessaPMpro true and since a new guy is doing the Mario voice maybe many players may not like it but then again in the original no one talked so they decided to put it just like that so it will be unchanged for the best
It was always easy. That's the point. It was literally made as a game to introduce little kids to RPGs. To call it babies first RPG isn't an insult, as that is actually what they intended it to be.
