The lighting was really cool as you were walking to the lamp post . Wish they'd release the mario and Luigi series (mario and Luigi all stars?) So we'd have all the rpg goodness on one system.

Love watching these GameStop midnight releases they bring back nostalgia of the old days glad to see someone still doing the Midnight GameStop releases I even though I buy my PS5 games digitally but for Switch I buy those physically because those switch can be worth some money like 10 years from now I also have a physical copy of Super Mario RPG Legends of Seven Stars for my Switch as well as Paper Mario Thousand of Door re release for my switch but used to own that game for my old GameCube back in like 2006 and the Original SNES version of Mario RPG back in like the late 2000s

Digital purchases are definitely more convenient these days and very few publishers offer incentives to pickup the physical copies. You’re definitely right that Nintendo games in recent years seem to hold up their value for physical copies. There’s a few of us who run this channel but across all our physical collections we probably have more Nintendo games than other systems. The midnight releases aren’t as exciting as they used to be but we love attending to try and keep the tradition alive. Glad you enjoyed watching!

Hey thanks for the support. Yeah it seemed to be a bit of a surprise to the staff as well that a midnight launch was happening for this game but we believe it was pushed down from corporate to have a launch event at their major stores. Likely due to the success of Super Mario Bros Wonder.
