I agree, a hard mode would be acceptable because people who played the original will breeze through this game so having a hard mode would be acceptable.

Can't wait to play it tomorrow evening alongside Persona 5 Tactica! With this coming out tomorrow and Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door coming out next year, I really hope that Nintendo understands the appetite people have for Mario RPGs and not the crap that they did with the previous 3-4 Paper Mario games...

So if you never played it and really enjoyed the Combat from paper Mario I'm thinking I'll grab this and the 1k year door on the voucher things cuz i can't justify paying full price for such an old game& may as well get 1kyd cuz i have been wanting to play that since it 1st came out i finally got the chance but i broke my DS and was never able to beat it and i really got involved in the story of it too with the star thing n what's goin on with bowser etc i don't want to spoil it i forgot so much but i remember so much of it after all these yr like it's been 20y i think or almost lol. But then i guess i gotta look at what else's coming out cuz i really wish that they'd only charge us 40$which is still very high price for such things that are remake old games they should only be 40 and 60 for new

Nintendo never missed a shot this year, even at the end. (Well excluding Everybody's 1-2-Switch but who really cares about that one)

I’m at a gamer age where I wish every game had a hard mode - it has become a deal breaker for me if a game is too easy

Post game bosses are very tough, but I agree that a hard mode would be appreciated.

Good video. It would be nice if this remake offered a hard mode. A lot of the new features seem to make it even easier than it was before. I am glad this game is getting remake.

Good video. Just to let you know, SquareEnix did NOT make the original Super Mario RPG. Square made it. SquareEnix did not exist yet.

I never played the original on the SNES so I had no clue what to expect. I looked this video up in the parking lot of Gamestop has one last chance to stop me from wasting $65 on a game I didn’t like and I’ll have to say this is exactly what I was looking for and sold on it. Thanks Dreamcast bro.

Perfect review

The exact same game, huh? So other than the graphics and quality of life stuff, it's pretty much the original but newer? That's all well and good, the original game was great and all. But I was hoping for there to be a little more differences between the two. Like how Super Mario 64 DS was to the original Super Mario 64. A reimagining of the original, but still have the same style and story. So it gives us more than what we could get out from the original, like give us more characters to interact with, or have Luigi be in the game To be clear, I don't have a problem with the remake, I just wish it wasn't TOO faithful to the original.

I don't see how it's controversial at all to want a hard mode, so long as it's optional. That's a pretty simple way to add replay value as well.

I dont like some of the name changes, very good remake. Also whyd they cut the catd symbols when using magic?? The special enemies couldve been alternate colors and unused enemies and assets from original too.

I'm bugged that they changed the Y button from run to items or whatever. The point of Y being run was to make it feel more like a Mario game, but in 3d.

In remember I level 3d this game on the snes. You get that lucky hammer early and roll to hope you get no XP when you beat bosses.

Playstation Guy would have given this a 4/10 if it were an Xbox game.

I'm sorry but Nintendo needs to give the fans more than Super Nintendo remakes. I'm not paying ANOTHER $90-$100 for a Super Nintendo game with fresh paint. I absolutely love Metroid, but Metroid dread was a full priced 2D side scroller and was only 9 Gigs in size. Zelda: Links awakening was a Gameboy game with new paint... full price! And Nintendo never puts their titles on sale. They put minimum effort in and expect max profit. I want this game badly, but I'm not paying full price. Nintendo is being put in the same box as Blizzard, Bethesda and EA, NEVER buy their games at full price

Boring outdated fatigues remake endlessly milking RINSE/REPEAT copy paste & cash grabs as usual.. same 50 - 70 buck's too or lol via GARBAGE same switch 2 or pro to.. .or whatever its called.

I gotta say, that Geno Cutscene was really magical. You also forgot to mention that you can rematch all the bosses and they are harder
