What an absolutely incredible race this was. GG to both teams, creators, and everyone involved with making this happen. This was such a wonderful showcase of what the kaizo community is capable of, both in level design and gameplay.

Always my favorite part of GDQ. Brilliant play and brilliant level design as always! That fours level with the whole screen turning, zooming, stretching etc blew my mind. Amazing work!
WOW! That was an amazing relay race with amazing levels! These SMW creators are truly a creative and talented group of people. The levels exceeded my expectations and beyond, they were incredible! The SMW community is so awesome! 😃
This was easily the best run of the marathon. These levels blew my mind, the runners all showcased incredible skill, and I was jumping out of my seat in excitement throughout.
I've never been a fan of watching people play kaizo runs they already know, but relay races like these have proven to me that watching folks LEARN a game like this is SUPER fun to me!

this race was just fantastic. it was so great to see the players live again and i also loved seeing my two favorite streamers (barb and juz) live. great race with shoujo as MVP. incredible work from her.
Those were some sick levels, so creative! And what a line up of players to race through them, fave run from the year's event that I've watched, by far! Great job everyone!
Shoujo went god mode in this run. I swear she was omniscient at some points with how good her reads were. Awesome runs by both teams, absolutely love the SMW and SMM communities, so much skill and good vibes. Both this and the SMM2 race were definitely high points of this SGDQ
This is just fantastic, i'm so happy the event was help in person, it just gives a completely different vibe with the public. Perhaps the tech team could think of a VR option to attend this kind of events!
Time bonus per win needs to be 30 seconds (10 seconds never makes a difference), and the "handicapped" team on the final level need to close their eyes before their time starts to avoid getting any info.
I loved the race. Such amazing levels. I also love the rules of the race, they keep the race competitive even if one team takes a lot of wins early. Though I would say that when one team gets a head-start on the last level, the other team shouldn't be allowed to look at their screen during the head-start. That could definitely have changed the outcome of the race.
Really cool and entertaining concept connected with good incentives :) Maybe another funny idea: let people vote/ donate for spontaneous, extra challenges during runs( e.g. fists only, no rolls, no jumping, for the upcoming section, the next 5 minutes or so.). Ofc. sth. That's reasonable and fitting the game/ sections.
Dang was rooting for Dino because Carl but I guess Dolphins got the good read. Great race and fun to watch. Especially enjoyed Carl freaking out in the background at times.
That level by FerbyMc was absolutely amazing. It really tested the skills and improvability of custom Mario game runners. The runners did really amazing as well, a lot of skill and impressive moves.
