Going from what's happening here, the lore of this game (what I think) is something like this: -Peach is tired of being kidnapped by Bowser -She uses the Super Crowns to turn Bowser into Bowsette, then overpowers Bowsette in her new form because Bowsette is just like "WHAT THE FRICK did you just do to me how am I supposed to be able to do anything" -Defeats Bowsette -Takes over the castle because she's excited at her newfound power that comes from Bowsette not knowing how to do stuff -Gains control of the armies -Bowsette sends Mario a letter that basically says "stop Peach and I'll go easy on you for a little bit once I get back to normal" -Peach sees that Bowsette is communicating with Mario, and starts to keep Bowsette in her new remodeled Clown Car -Mario defeats enemies all sent out by Peach, and probably with new appearances to match Peach's princessy aesthetic (since she doesn't have a new outfit or anything in this fight, so we can assume that she stays the same and wants the enemies to look nice) -Gets to this final battle, and Bowsette, still tied up in the Clown Car, gives Mario items in order to assist him during the battle to stop Peach from becoming the new bad guy of the Koopa Kingdom Is it bad that I want a game like this? Peach finally snaps and you're forced to go through and fight new enemies in her style and eventually Peach herself?

I’ve always known Peach was the true villain of the Mario series ever since the first game! I mean Bowser was kidnapping her in order to save the mushroom kingdom.

I want to see something like this in the upcoming Mario movie. A brainwashed Peach that has to fight Mario before he gets to Bowser and the rest. It'll be quite the twist now that I think about it and it would give the personality boost that Peach needs like eating by itself. She's presented on the ground, all innocent and weakened and Mario gets close to her. Only for her to push him back angrily rejecting his help and for Mario to realize that she's been brainwashed and manipulated and now he has to fight the love of his life to get to Bowser. (But you know, after the fight Peach snaps back to reality and gets along with Mario, cause you know... It's Nintendo, we can't have much tragedy happening to the main IP characters.) It would be quite a twist and it would make a huge, imposing threat out of Bowser. But knowing Nintendo... Nah.
