Super Mario World The Complete Series DVD 2-Disc Set Unboxing 

Never saw the "Super Mario World" cartoon series before, but I saw one episode called "Mama Luigi" and it has one of their moments. The only show I remember was the "Super Mario Bros. Super Show" and it was decent, but not a bad show, the live-action segments were okay, but the cartoon looks decent, but kinda weird.

It took the dvd manufacturing companies long enough to release a dvd set of this series that doesn't have Captain N the game master on the discs as well.

This was my favorite Mario cartoon as a kid 'cause it was the only one that had Yoshi in it and he wasn't in the other ones probably because he wasn't in Super Mario Bros. 1, 2 or 3. And this was also the only one that doesn't have Toad and I guess that's because he wasn't in the Super Mario World game. I feel like there should've been more episodes 'cause since Toad was in the other two cartoons, he gets way more screen time than Yoshi, which is kinda unfair to me 'cause Yoshi is always my favorite Mario character, even in this cartoon, but he doesn't get shown as much as Toad did. I mean, I like Toad, but I like Yoshi better, just my opinion.

It certainly hasn't aged well unlike Super Mario 3 which is still really good if binged and Super Mario Bros. Super Show. The version of this that I have came bundled with Season 3 of Captain N, which itself paled in comparison to the first two seasons.

It's good that Shout Factory and other DVD comapany made a lot of Cartoons/Anime series in complete DVD collections over the years like, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Transformers, Power Rangers, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Miraculous Ladybuy and other animated films. But I still wished they have done something interesting for a changed like released some past Cartoons/ Anime shown in UK/USA/ Australia from the 90's, 2000 and beyond like: Cartoons: Blazin Dragons, Space cats, Starla and the Jewel Riders, The Addams Family, Creepy Crawlers, Mary Kate and Ashley in Action, Biker Mice from Mars 1993 and Gormiti Nature Unleashed. Anime: Cardcaptors, Spider Riders, Yo Kai Watch and Ultimate Muscles. It may sound a lot to wished for but if you have some favourites Cartoons/Anime memories from your childhood like me then you would understand from what I'm coming from even though it's unsudden if it even going to happen in the future. I know a few of them were released into DVD in the past but none of them were in complete DVD collections like Transformers and Pokemon. I think it's about time that Shout Factory and other DVD comapany should think of making them into DVD because that could make them successful. But not on Blu-Ray as some of us like myself don't have a Blu- Ray DVD Player.

150 minutes sounds like a rip off, I remembered there were a lot of episodes so 150 seems short...

I'm only a huge fan of the Mario games, not the cartons. But yeah, the colors on the DVD looks cool.

Mine is fuzzyish kinda blury. Is yours? I know its an old cartoon but is it suppose to not be as good picture as super show on dvd. Mine has no art work on the inside. Just blank. Had no insert in mine too. Mine had no slip either

I have the the adventures of Smb3 the complete series and the one you un boxed and the smb super show is on Netflix but I don’t watch that one as much

This is a decent series, I own it myself. The pro of this show quite above other Super Mario Bros shows is this one has Yoshi(Since this is based on Super Mario World for SNES after all). But still though, the previous Mario shows(Super Mario Bros Super Show and the Adventure of Super Mario Bros 3) are quite superior shows overall.

It would be awesome if they make The Super Mario Bros Super Show The Complete Series.
