Twillight princess, xenoblades and hollow knight have better title theme but that's just me.

​@@mohamedbelbaali659 Hey, good taste! I respect that. I just listened to all three. I remember playing Twilight Princess back on Gamecube. You seem to like the slow, beautiful, melancholy themes, right? Variety is great. The slow themes evoke the sense of a long journey through an unknown ancient world. Meanwhile, I like how the Super Metroid designers were direct and up front with a short, identifiable, and unnatural sounding title theme that said right away "you're on an alien world of monsters totally alone: good luck". Based on you liking those three melancholy themes, perhaps consider listening to the title theme for Secret of Mana (1993) if you don't already know of it.

@@Cronieock Yeah I think you figured me out... I do think that slow / melancholic theme are a good fit for a title screen. It just seems that its a good places to reflect before playing. Even thought I am quite open in terms of music and I think that games like Super Smash Bros Brawl , Wind Waker or Dark souls III have pretty good titles screen theme even thought they aren't that slow / melancholic. Btw thanks for showing me the title theme for Secret of Mana it's def a gem

​@@mohamedbelbaali659 Hollow Knight is good but this is just creepy, and the twilight princess opening is just the same ol' classic good Zelda opening so it's not unique to that game. Haven't played Xenoblade yet.

The first part kinda sounds like from Alien. But the synth heavy part sounds like from The Thing

They were heavily inspired by Alien, so it makes sense.

Super Metroid on original SNES was my first more serious game after playing games like Yoshi's Island and Donkey Kong Country. I had a bunch of games borrowed from a friend, and among them, Super Metroid. I had never heard of Metroid and thought it to be just some random game with not much to offer. I was like 8 years old when I popped it in, this would've been around 1997. The intro was chilling, and I remember thinking that I might be over my head with this one. And I was. After the first escape sequence I was shaken and filled with adrenaline, because after only a few minutes of gameplay, I had taken my first steps into what I would still consider to be a horror game. I've never played any game as carefully and with as much dread as I played Super Metroid during the following several weeks. It was an experience unlike any game before or after. The feeling of isolation and loneliness was something else, and a big part to why it worked so well was the music. I spent hours upon hours just hanging around in certain areas, listening to the music. I still remember the first moment I actually felt like hell yes, I love this game. That was when I first descended to Upper Brinstar, and that music faded in. And it just kept getting better. In the end, there's a good chance that Super Metroid may be the single most important game for me.

Just kidding, it is truly a master piece!

Sam's Lower brinstar is almost perfect to me, except for the song's choir and the beat that follows it. I think it is still a bit too loud and missing some timing tuning between all mixed instruments and choirs.. the volume, fade in and fade out's effects of each instrument is something that I believe that must be completely customized in the restorations since the volume of a compressed sound blends different with the other sounds in the snes sound chip

@@danilonotsys wow thanks for linking the video! I scrolled back but I’m a bit newer to his channel so I assumed his super Metroid work was just more recently. Well, perhaps he will see your comment and revisit it!
