THATS how you do helix.

Had to share this here cause this is just insane. So since on my last playthrough of master I got the green goal on Master Extra 7 I decided to relive the torture of this level in practice mode. So my usual strat is just jumping off halfway since while hard it’s nowhere near as difficult as the intended method. So after bouncing off the top of the blue goal to my death I think to myself “wonder if it’s possible to bounce off the blue goal into the green goal?” Then on my very next attempt that exact thing happened!!! Just thought I’d share that here cause this is just insane

This is the only stage so far in SMB2 I haven't been able to clear the "intended" way. I accidentally skipped it when I accidentally grabbed the green goal on Master-EX 7 Synchronized, then, the second time I went specifically to play Helix, and it took me near 200 lives and more than 2 continues to accidentally fall in the right angle and position to clear it in a speedrunning way since the whole time I was trying to not fall off the course.

First got to this stage, broke my GameCube controller had to buy a new one. Got to this stage in banana mania, broke my joycon and gotta get a new one

I can't believe I did this as a kid.

The first time through Master Extra, I used a warp to skip Helix. Second time, I lost at helix. Later on, I went into helix in practice mode and got it first try by falling off of the start into the goal.

This stage isn’t even that hard, you just need to be patient and take it slow.
