Advanced is on par with SMB1's Expert in terms of difficulty. It gets quite some time to get used to.
The 20th anniversary celebration continues! Banana Splitz was a Monkey Ball game for the PlayStation Vita. It is actually considered one of the best entries in the series, going back to its old roots with Challenge Mode and its very creative level design. This game has an SMB1 feel to it, and its difficulty curve is on par with Super Monkey Ball 1.

@@DE23 30:19 is probably the best time. The Bad Boon drawing is visible whenever the monkey is on the outside of the circular tracks for a little bit.

Dino (Monkey?) Island being demolished by three volcanoes Clay Temple shrouded in a sickly green fog Block City... in a, uh, cold winter night? A lawless western city made of crude cardboard cutouts And a future embroiled in a galactic war Boy, Splitz Advanced really wanna makes things dramatic for its hardest standard difficulty

I'd like to imagine that the more you travel through time, the more warped the worlds you visit become.

Wow, despite the toy setting, things sure got dark fast in these levels. The prehistoric jungle in world 1 is being decimated in world 5. World 2 has some kinda ominous fog in world 6, and world 9 is a total space war. And don't get me started on the tenth and final world just yet. Time travel can really be dangerous. Regardless, Excellent gameplay as always Cherrim. Keep up the pace.

I always believed that time and space become more warped the more you travel through toy time. Since you’ve been to Dino island the most it’s start to have volcanic eruptions, clay temple has a dark fog, block town gets covered in snow. And the master world has you trapped in a time paradox.

Looks like you’re the first to play a no-continue run on Banana Splitz’s Advanced with 371,741 points and 6 lives left (which is harder than the Expert in the first 2 Super Monkey Ball games and Deluxe, and takes about 30-60 minutes to beat). Even so, there are NO extra levels, even if you could beat it without using a continue or losing a life. Also, there is a bonus stage on Master.

That stage took me so long to practice. I’ve learned to go fast to the point to go over the tail.

I know. But there are no extra stages even if you completed Advanced without continues or without losing lives, and it doesn’t carry on to Master. Instead, Master is played separately.

Mothership is no doubt the hardest stage in the game, I could say any of the master stages would be the hardest, but due to the fact that when you play Advanced mode you have a limited number of continues, while when you unlock Master mode you get infinite continues which makes Advanced the hardest difficulty. I remember when I lost all of my continues on Mothership I raged so hard, screw that stage.
