I hope you all had a great holiday! I know it seems early but I’ve been ready to take down my Christmas as soon as I woke up on the 26th 😬 I think part of it is we will be celebrating Mike’s birthday on the 31st so I want to get ready for that celebration! I’m ready for a new start! 🎉 Thank you for spending your time with me this year! Im always grateful for YOU….especially around the holidays!❤️ All of this doesn’t exist without you so thank you! I'm Hispanic and we celebrate Three Kings on Jan 6 so my Christmas tree will still be up til then. Its a tradition hopefully my kids will follow one day. Love from Texas.

I love Christmas but I agree! I am so glad it’s over!! 🎉😅 For me it’s seeing the excited faces of my grandchildren and just having everyone together in my home. But wow…the work! So amazingly fun and so amazingly exhausting. I like the slower pace that comes after Christmas as well.

Oh my gosh! When I get as a kid in the 70s we would visit family in the Akron area (from CT) every year and going to Cedar Park with my cousin was always a highlight of the trip!

The best thing that I do after Christmas is make a list of everything that we bought and enjoyed and everything that we bought and didn’t eat! I make a list of all those extras that I always need to remember such as tights as you mentioned and get the list out in November to prepare myself! Another idea is plan your outfits ahead of going out so you know what you’ll be wearing and when.

Hi Jamie, it feels like it's been forebears since I saw you on here, and it's so nice seeing you today. My oldest grandson got sick, and I took him to the doctor on Thursday before Christmas, and he has RSV a, and I strayed feeling rough on Christmas, so I went yesterday, and I have RSV. I'm at my wits end with all this sickness everywhere, and I'm with you on getting the house back to normal. Christmas stuff is going to be put away, and this house is going to get disinfected and sanitized from to to bottom. Can't wait for the organizing videos. I took my tree down at 930 Christmas night! Did a really good deep clean the next day and took everything down! I put up winter decor w lots of white snowflakes! So simple and cozy!

Our Christmas this year was very special. We shared with our family that we are adding another baby to our family. A little boy due in July 2024. I don’t usually comment on your videos often Jamie but know that I watch them religiously. I always get very excited when I find out that you posted a new one!! We tackled our house the day after Christmas as well. Cleaning, organizing, and now rearranging bedrooms for our new addition. I hope you all have a Happy New Year!

Im SO with you! We decorate for Halloween, thanksgiving and Christmas. Thats 3 months of extra decor. I love it all and super enjoy it but By Christmas night, I’m just so ready get my house back!

I am grateful for the magic and excitement of the holiday season, but if I am being 100% honest, I am thankful that it is over. It seems like every single year you start seeing the Christmas posts earlier and earlier on social media. We are not even past Halloween and people are sharing Christmas related content. And you see all of the viral trends and products that I think make people feel like they need to purchase all of this stuff that honestly you don't need nor even necessarily want. I legit ended up taking down our Christmas tree and decor more than a week before Christmas even officially arrived because I was beyond over it. My husband and I are 58 and 59 years of age and we don't exchange gifts amongst ourselves and we don't get together with anyone during the holiday season. So the Christmas tree is merely just there for decoration. We live in an 892 square foot apartment which is relatively small on a normal day to day basis, and when you add in a Christmas tree and all of the decor, it eats into what is already a smaller space. So I was just ready to regain back my living area and get the clutter cleaned up and packed away. I honestly think that moving forward during the holiday season I am just going to stay off social media because it mentally can be overwhelming and exhausting (at least for me personally). And it definitely leads me to spend money on crap that I don't even need nor actually even want.

Hi Jamie, had a great Christmas with my granddaughter, at 21 months it was so much fun with her. My orthopedic said to stop PT until I get my MRI, still in a lot of pain. I did Christmas dinner. I got all my Christmas down too! What an ordeal but luckily I can put crates on my walker and move them that way. I need to organize my Christmas stuff and purge but hard since so much is sentimental. Got new crates since the old ones are cracking. The house looks so barren without the decorations but that is ok, like you say it looks normal again. Thank you Jamie!🙂

I hosted Christmas Saturday, Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. I was wiped out but after everyone left on Christmas day I got all my Christmas decorations cleaned up and put away. The 26th I went outside and got all the outside Christmas decor packed up. My husband had foot surgery the end of November and is still in a cast so he couldn’t help but my sweet son showed up and took all the bins and tree to my storage. Yea! Go Me! I was so ready to get everything put away. Now I’m ready to get my house back to normal. I’m so glad y’all had a good Christmas. I hope Mike has a wonderful Birthday 🎂! Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas Jamie. That organizer/tote for the Xmas ornaments is something I need to have! I'm so guilty of just putting the ornaments in random storage bins or bags just to get it out of the way, only to struggle with finding them all come Xmas time again! Glad you all had a wonderful Christmas! Wishing you a blessed 2024. I will be watching your first organizing video for 2024. We completely demolished my kitchen for my renovation. We still will have a microwave, crockpot, air fryer and instapot to use. Plus our gas grill. Dishes will be done in my laundry room sink. I can’t wait until my dream kitchen becomes reality!

Christmas is on December 25. That's when we celebrate Jesus's birthday. And it involves gift exchanges, the Christmas tree, gathering with family, having a big dinner.... New Years Eve is December 31, that's when we count down to the new year and watch the big ball drop on TV. And a lot of people attend parties during the evening. And New Years Day is January 1, there isn't really celebrations it's just when people make traditional foods like sauerkraut, kielbasa, cabbage, and things like that. Historically, I think the foods are supposed to have different symbolisms like "good luck" or "prosperity" but I don't think anyone actually believes that today. (Of course not everyone does it this way, it's just my best go at a generalization, lol) Maybe that will help you differentiate the different days. 😊

Hi Jayme, I hope you all had any awesome Christmas . I know they feeling . Taking some things down myself . Everything went by fast . Looming is true. Since we list chatted on line and its been a while . We get ducks . So muck is what I also clean . We live in farm area . I have Bern selling stuff we stop using and its been great to make space . Still working on areas which I thought would be done by now . But we have birthdays between my son and I . His just passed and mine is on they 2nd . Happy New Year if I m not back by then. Now back to you :) 💘

I take my tree + Christmas decorations down the evening of Christmas. I agree with you on the holiday exhaustion. It’s all fun and beautiful, but exhausting. Hope you and your family have a wonderful new year!🎉♥️

Hey Jamie, I hope your holiday was fun. I put my decorations away today. Normally I keep my decorations up until January. I guess I was tired of it early.😅 I need to get a bin for my Christmas tree. Every year I put it in its box but the box has had it. Lol I need to start weight lifting. Once I turned 40 I could see that my body wasn't as toned as it used to be. I'm so used to doing cardio so weight lifting will be new to me.
