Just a quick update today. Very windy when flying and had to land due to police helicopter activity in the area. The Mummy maze is still in place. No Jurassic World video as they don't test on Sundays.
They’re painting the mountains that will be installed: Now they have to confirmed this land instead of being, “What land? We’re building a Churro Stand.”
Lol, they won't confirm anything until they are ready. Take a look at Island of Adventure, a brand new intamin multi launch coaster has been built in the Jurassic Park area. Universal has been absolutely silent about it despite it being obvious.
Ryan ThemePark I work for the park and The thing is that it was supposed to be revealed after Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash opened back in early April but COVID-19 has other plans. The reason why they don’t want to reveal this or the Velocicoaster, even though both are far into construction, is because they don’t know when this pandemic will truly be over and don’t want an influx of people coming in only to be turned away(It’s the reason why Universal Japan has delayed the opening even though theirs is already complete.).
Ah, finally know what that backstage area is for, assembling the hills facade for inside Nintendo land. I remember someone said it was going to be a new maintenance shee for the trams lol
Well with the mummy maze in place still and the Waterworld, I am still hopeful of some type of modified walkthrough as an add on for general admission. Obviously few scare actors but at least a walk through.
But maybe the track will be placed when the hills get covered like in Japan on looked in maps all the land was covered and there was the track possibly that might happen we don't know yet
I don’t see any tracks on the second floor. When Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash was being built, the tracks were built on the second floor before the floor was built and the show building closed up. If it were, the tracks would’ve been built and visible.
Don’t think we’re getting the Yoshi ride, but there are rumors Hollywood is getting a flat ride based off of bullet bill, which would use the ride system used in Minions freeze ray sliders at Universal Japan.
I know everything looks smaller from the air, but this is looking to be a TINY, crowded land, with not much walking around space. The show building looks huge, but as far as actual walking space - not good. Fill it with a couple hundred people, and there will be no room to move around.
It’s on par with the other theme lands at the park: Springfield, Hogsmeade, and Illumination Street are small lands that can get very crowded on busy days.
This is going to be a multi level land, which will make up for the lack of land they had to work with. Also the Mario Kart ride will be a massive people eater with a gigantic queue area.
@@Emplordxiii Sry man with quarantine the only interesting thing in my life rn is super nintendo world. If SCD ever stopped posting, I would get mad depressed.
Brandon Ortiz Simple: You don’t know if the person is busy with other important things with his or her life. RU-vidrs don’t owe anything to anyone. If anyone is desperate for an aerial update, they should invest on their own drone and fly it over the park instead of bugging others to do it.
in order for us to get the yoshi ride we need a bridge because its a mostly outside ride... at this point im thinking we’re only getting mario kart which im totally not mad about, i wouldnt want yoshi anyway because secrete life of pets is exactly the same and i would want something different from japan...
Kieran Hayag my bad i meant secrete life of pets, all those movies are the same to me lol hopefully despicable me is replaced w a better attraction bc that show building is currently a waste
At least SLOP is a unique ride and I feel like it's being underhyped. But about the yoshi ride, yeah its not gonna happen, but I could see a walkthrough attraction with all that space near the giant rumored mountain.
Hey do any of you think they might just keep the mummy maze texas chainsaw up until they start making a new permanent maze. just a thought and they also might be doing set dressing inside so none of us can see progress on the facade. also maybe we might be gettin a glimpse of this maze in the mysterious official announced hhn event. lol sorry for long comment im just tryin to keep hope that hhn isnt fully cancelled
If you are referring to the ones where the mountains are having the green put on, those have been there for months. They just recently started painting them and attaching more to them.
@@NorCalCoasterMedia I still think Bowser's Castle is going across from Peach's Castle @1:55 to maintain the sight-line from Japan that it's the first thing you see when you enter the land. It would be a different configuration for the queue than in Japan, but they might be routing it under the mountains to deal with a more awkward and smaller site to work with at USH.
Joe Consorti yup, I saw it at an event last year for upcoming projects for team members only. No cameras were allowed, hence why it hasn’t been leaked.
Joe Consorti can’t go into details due to NDA until it’s officially confirmed by Universal Hollywood. But it will be different from Japan. Heck all of them will be different layouts.
Fires are going on near the area, there’s smoke and ashes everywhere! There’s no way to fly a drone in these conditions. Stop being selfish and rude to Santa Clarita Drone.
No ride. There's no trackwork. That big hill might be the MarioKart ride entrance or an entrance for a different type of ride on the first level. Ik it's stupid, but it is what it is
@@NorCalCoasterMedia there's just wasting space for shops hills and food it's just stupid even this is the reason why I think universal Earnshaw money download the universal app and check the food and shops you see there's to much food and there doing this to super nintendo world omg universal it's stupid they did a review of Springfield the food and not super nintendo world universal it's all about eximent not food like panda express that's near universal they should demolish Paris street for a illumination ride not a food place they took two Soundstage for show and scary maze they demolished that for a shop Starbucks and the walking dead and the walking dead closed down you get what I mean about this like universal way too much food I think yoshi ride will go better not food who agrees
@@luisangelmartinez340 I'm thinking that either there might be some sort of walkthrough attraction or there might be a Bullet Bill-themed flat ride. If we're extremely lucky we could get a unique small-scale dark ride on the first floor.
