Lisa got dumped on this whole episode. First Burt cuts off her intro with a sneeze and no apology; then he tells her she has $100 when she actually has $200; then she guesses “phone” right at the buzzer of her first clue, the judges don’t hear it, and she doesn’t go for the shortened form of “telephone” because she had already guessed it without being given the point.

I think it was picky. When people say phone, they're referring to telephone most often, and not a megaphone. If the word had been megaphone then I could see the need to clarify, as that would be less often used.

Can-can is hyphenated ... .. for word game precision.
