Despite the car model being just about the last thing that I vibe with, these guys are more relatable to us than the absolute majority of car people as a whole. cheap grassroots endurance racing is where it's at! Love the build and love what they do. As a fellow angle grinder enthusiast I can also appreciate all the work that has been done for weight. Presumably this plays an even bigger role in tire-limited racing like what they're doing. Thumbs up for taking the extra time for an extensive episode!
I really liked those cars when they hit the market back in the 90's. This reminds me of the old days before you could just slap a turbokit on. Everything had to be lightweight. Even the shifter. :)
This type of team is an inspiration. We're starting our own "lowcost" endurance car, and we're going with a Civic EK, this video is a good example that is better to spend hours than spend money, knowing your car and what maket it good, is the key difference. Hope in a phew years we can share track with this crazy guys. Thanks for this type of content OLH family!
As soon as i knew this guys were about to be in town, i knew this had to happen. Besides the front onboard (consider adding an extra camera as redundancy there), this turned out great! you absolutely got me punching the air at 26:04, instantly getting BTCC flashbacks in my head!!
