I’m also breeding premium koi angels purchased from Angels Plus, selling to LFS at about 12 week old. And too have had difficulties with getting fry to free swimming stage. Having some better luck using hydrogen peroxide vs meth blue. Nice vid.
I would cut back on the air. In my opinion. But it is working for you. I don't remember how many batches of eggs and fry I killed before I get it to work. But I have liened what works in my fish room. Will probably not in your. The fry look great . Great job.
@@fishboy1415 you bet hope it helps. I have used them for Rams and all kinds of fry and whats nice is the circulate the tanks own water the fry were born in from outside the tank for easy care...once you use them you will never use anything else!
I’m breeding angels, have 2 breeding pairs, I give them the Tera cotta cones to spawn on then pull the cone as soon as there are eggs. Move the cone to a 10g, dose lightly with Meth Blue, put an air stone on gentle flow until they are free swimming. Then once free swimming feed, feed feed on baby brine and they grow fast.
I am facing a problem, my wigglers are dyeing after they hatch.. I am using MBlue .. My question is when to change the water of the hatching tank? some people say change it on the 2nd day of the eggs.. some say dont change the water, I have tried both but no success. If i dont change the water starts spelling bad.. People als say to remove Mblue from the tank before the eggs hatch.. Please guide me if you can ... specifically on methylene blue and water changes...
I am considering breeding anglers in the near future and have been looking at the Angle Plus hatching and rearing jars. They look similar to what you have been trying with th he jars but there is a different water flow system in it. Closer to a built in sponge filter. Have you seen or used them?
Hi. I have 6angel fish in a 50 gal long tank with sine tetras Aldo. 2 angels have paired off & are I think spawning on leaves if artificial plants. They’re starting to chase other angels away from their area. Just noticed this yesterday. What should I do to keep stress down with other fish. Should I just leave them alone to see what happens?

I personally feel angel fish do take good care from mating to laying eggs to hatching them Even in first try i failed to do breeding of koi marble with koi veiltail angel fish but a week later they did again laid eggs n there r so many like 200-300 wigglers Now they will be free swimming very soon
Despite the presence of an arowana and a the strong current of my top filter in my big tank, my 2 angel fish have still managed to fertilize almost all of their eggs. They even keep on attacking my dad's arowana even he's 10 times bigger than them. While saving those non free swimming fries, the couple are also attacking me.I separated their fries to make sure that they are safe.Hopefully they can survive.
i was speaking to you before....about my angel fry fungusing over or just plain dying. Near the end of this video, when you have the new fry just starting to swim, that where i lose them. Any thoughts?
so is the breeder net better than the breed plastic box? I have german blue ram and I want to hatch their egg myself instead of leaving it to the parent.
Hi I liked it & tried it also it worked but one thing I have to know as to how almost all the breeders Angel fish give eggs continuesly but mine once in two three months i feed them live tubeflex worm pls guide me for to get maximum spawn
Able to help me out? Ive got 4 pairs in seperate tanks. Everytime they spawn I take the eggs out into a 80 degree Fahrenheit tank. Add methylene blue. 2nd day I do pretty much 90% water change to remove the blue. Eggs hatch. Fry turn to wigglers. Then just about when fry are about to free swim they all die off.... Its been like over 10 unsuccessful spawns for me. Any help would be truly appreciated!
This is the first time my angelfish lay egg.. but she had lay the eggs on the wall and i cant remove it, what should i do (she lay the eggs is in a community tank) S.O.S. help plss
Sorry...have freshly hatched bbs ready for when their yolk sack is gone...DO NOT overfeed with bbs and ckean up excess bbs after esch feed, if not fry can tend to develope swim bladder issues by overfeeding! I've literally hatched thousands with this method...oh take care to water change frequently after ya start on bbs...good luck#
