So, X-O actually has Eva 01 in Rebuild style with the Magorok E Sword. It just didn't get in V. Probably because V was well into development by the time that became a thing.

I think I remember seeing some footage of that somewhere. Like you said its probably because of V being well into development is why it never appeared, ah well theres always next time and being able to use the awakened unit-01 is a pretty big plus.

The ability to use Awakened Eva 01 was a huge plus for this game. Honestly when Rebuild is done well i prefer it to the series. Getting more Eva's plus attacks like The Beast mode make up for some of the extras that the series has. Plus I'm a fan of Mari and the more hot blooded versions of Asuka and Shinji.

I prefer the hot-blooded versions of their characters too. Shinji definitely gets a good showing the game not just in terms of Awakened Unit-01 but in character aswell, right up there with how he is in the Alpha series and might be even better.

He did do something wrong, but it wasn't intentionally, and everyone treating him like they did in Eva Q was far more wrong. Eva Q was a mistake.

Welp. That's pretty easy. Sounds like Great Zeorymer's reqs in J, except Zeo had to kill all the Tekkoryu bosses instead.

How do you do it?

At this time, shinji should have 'drive' in his spirit pool, and it would help increase his morale. At the skill program before going to scenarios, you need to increase his Morale limit so you need to give Shinji 'Break Morale Limit' at the highest level (+3) and you need to give him the 'Fighter's spirit' skill to have his morale above 110 at the start of every battle to make things easier. With morale requiring upgrades for any mech, you need to have SP Regen skill just for facing bosses or any powerparts skill that constantly increases morale every turn (maybe Diva's ring?), also, have Eva kill grunts more to increase the synchro rate, then you'll get the Pseudo-evol state. To be honest, Koji is easier to do. Just increase morale to 150 and mazinger zero is good to go. But Shinji's upgrades are worth it especially once you get his ace bonus.

Be careful here is some tips: if eva 01 get shot down it will go Berserk and it will target everyone be sure not to get eva 01 show down or your screwed

To be honest, enemy Eva-01 wouldn't be a problem. Just gang up on it and take it down like every other boss in the game. Many super robot bosses are tougher than Evangelion anyway. There are only two real reasons you don't want Eva-01 going berserk: First, it's a massive waste of time to take it down. Second, you may have a hang over from other SRPGs and never want to let any unit die, ever.

Too easy. Maxing out Eva-01 and acing with Shinji would net you a high synchro rate after just killing one mook.

They've been translating the Asian releases of this games for years at this point. The last two G Generation games and Super Robot Wars V, X, T are all playable in English.
