I know your comment is 8 months old but just for others who might see this. Pretty much from what i know it is. TTGL is made of pretty much pure spiral power. SP breaks the laws of the conservation of energy and is pretty much generated by pure willpower. The Dai Gurren Dan with Simon at the helm were able to generate enough of it to dwarf every galaxy known and stand upon the (i think its called) Astroplane. When TTGL and Dai Granzenboma clashed GDB's they were able to absorb and destroy all other galaxies in their universe and their drills created an infinity symbol as an artistic representation of the infinite power being generated by the two. So yeah i thing TTGL is supposed to be Infinite in strength they just toned it back for the game.

If it dealt infinite damage, that would be very against the source material - Chou Tengen Toppa GDB FAILED TO DO DAMAGE in the show.

nah they're fine for the same reason earth was fine despite there being a giant wormhole for them to view the fight. they were probably able to subconsciously shield all the galaxies that contain spiral life.

In Jigoku-hen, everyone grows to size Infinity for the Anti-Spiral battle, while the Anti-Spiral summons mooks with the same size. In Tengoku, somehow TTGL is reduced to only being somewhat larger than Chouginga.

To be fair, at this point the GL probably has enough control over Spiral energy to alter its own size at will, I certainly wouldn't put that past it. How else are you gonna get it in a hangar or ship without having it return to a prior form (and I'd imagine bringing it back to TTGL at will is probably a bitch to do)? Gotta make sure everyone else (besides the Shin Getter) feel like they're contributing! EDIT: Year later edit, but I hear they only reattain TTGL for the Z3 endgame levels anyways, so I think all of this was rendered moot speculation anyways. Feel free to correct me if I heard wrong.

BlazFenix *SPOILER**SPOILER* It was Kamina, the other characters reacted to him coming back, but i'm unsure if he was only there for that particular stage( I forget which one it was), as I didn't figure out how to transform into Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan until the final stage and even then I accidentally told him to wait instead of attack. As far as i know he didn't appear in the cut scenes after that one stage. He appears the second time the game forces you to turn into Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan if I remember correctly.

The Z3 series was split up into two chapters, so it's basically two games. The first one is the Jigoku Hen, then after comes the Tengoku Hen.

Depending in which universe they fight. If STTGL fights in the Marvel universe, Thanos will sadly curbstomp them at will with the infinity gaunlet. If it was tn TTGL Universe, Thanos would be obliterated because the Infinity gems only work in it's own universe.

Midori Natsume Demonbane went into anime and in super robot wars UX so it does meet the criteria. But TTGL is still in the top slot for having the over the top galaxy sized attacks full of burning passions not counting getter emperor due to it being only in manga.

Midori Natsume Though when it comes to being Map attacks great Zeorymer is OP especially with its move again pilot special radial area of 6 meaning spam zeal and move until in a group of enemies and let er rip. its pretty much on par with neo granzon esepcially since all of great zeos attacks are the ultimates of the bosses it needed to beat to unlock.

Those bots ARE anti-spiral weapons. Though I do agree beating up the True Anti-Spiral would have been more accurate since Gurren Lagann can take care of the smaller bots pretty easily.
