I've been trying to figure out what thoughts Rodney was responding to. Here's my best guess. Weir: _(wondering if Rodney's okay)_ Rodney: Oh, I'm fine. Weir: _(did I say that out loud?)_ Rodney: No. Weir: _(is he responding my thoughts?)_ Rodney: Yes. ...I have no clue about the last one.
That what I love about Rodney. They took this incredibly petty and arrogant character kept him... mostly the same really but also showed he has the makings of a true hero.
Every time I watch this episode I always wondered why he didn’t make ZPMs or the formula to make them. I guess it’s just the plot to not make Atlantis overpowered.
Imagine how much could get done if Super Rodney, Atanik Armband Carter, Hok'Taur Jonas and Ancient Library O'Neill could get done if they were all working together. Would make the Asgard look like chumps and the Goa'uld look like Neanderthals
lol mckay is the best scientist there and has been evolved by acient technology to a level far beyond anything a human would ever be able to achieve and Wier is going to send a science team to supervise? lmfao, what they going to do? play cards whilst they wait or what? they won't be able to understand the first thing he is doing. It is like sending a chimp to make sure the scientist is building a nuclear weapon correctly ;~)
Same reason the exiles to Earth didn't take one with them/same reason the outpost in Antarctica didn't have one; Whatever it takes to make them is incredibly difficult. Ditto drones. Atlantis hungers for drones the way the steel industry hungers for coal, but he didn't even mention that.
because then the writers would need to find a way to drain them again. They didnt want the atlantis expedition to become to powerful. Otherwise the writers would of written in to the show that they managed to make better naquadrah generators or copied the generators from one of the many advance alien races they have current blue prints for a long time ago. Its kinda a stupid point they kept at the status quo for a awhile and it needed to change for sure. My biggest gripe wasnt so much the Taur'i never making zpms it was why the hell did the asgard not send their entire fleet of ships over to earth to so that not only earth can defend the galaxy but could police it like the asgard when they easily win the war with the Ori.
@@GreenDragonReviews the war wasn't easily won against the Ori. they just found an ancient super weapon that the ancients were arrogant to believe they didn't need
