@@johnstones339 salty much? that's litraly how the game whent I can't make this up! lions rely on their attack too much but could not defend the kids from Craven week
Shout out to the lions for almost claiming it at the end. They ruled them out before the match began. Next match Dayimani and simelane need to start, those guys are electric. And next season the lions need to buy papier, I feel like Pote human is ruining his career, the lions could do with a bok scrum half.
The attendence is high even for NH standards; just a big stadium. When these stadiums were planned the internet was a foreign concept, tickets were cheaper and the middle classes were wealthier.
That Jaco Peyper(referee) at the last lineout he didnt see that stormer lock going offside the lineout ,if he saw that offside there woudnt be a counter attack for the stormers for the winning try.'Lucky once agian they escaped from murder' and also the afrikaans commentator said its a offside.Great game from the Lions,I love to those youngsters grow #Tyron Green #Morne vd Berg #Ruben Skoeman #Jan Henning Camfer Great game from Elton, realy the top flyhalf for SA now
Why have all these leagues..with all the travel anyways...just make one global league... with all french clubs english clubs sa clubs aus clubs nz clubs argentina japan italy etc. Divide it into pools and then have the top teams go into playoffs...?
First of all the travel would be enormous, there are already complaints about the travel in Super Rugby, secondly there would be so many teams making a log system would be almost impossible, nevermind the fact that if every team has to play every weekend the Tournament would be having like 20 games a weekend, across thousands of kilometers with television rights choosing which few matches they actually have the time to cast. You can't just drop franchises out of the top league, small championship and super rugby teams are still massive with TV contracts and sponsorships so I would doubt you could just not select them for this league. It makes almost no sense whatsoever.
England and France's wealthier clubs may agree to it even the mid level but struggling clubs will resist with passion of a woman scorned as it will be the death of them.
